    Hello all. I've just got my new extender in today and I wanted to ask you guys a few questions. And before anybody gets all up-in arms, yes, I have already searched the forums. I've found all of these questions answered in various places but I'm hoping this will bring together a bit more consistently in one thread both for myself and for future forum searchers.

    1) Both the guide that came with my extender and the guide stickied to this forum suggest working yourself up to wearing the extender for 12 hours a day. That's an awful long time! How long do most of you guys extend for at a time, and how long do you break between extensions?

    2) I've noticed that my penis get's a bit cold after about half an hour strapped in (I use a noose). This is normal, yes?

    3) I've also noticed that when I unstrap my penis is quite tender where the noose was. This will not lead to decreased sensitivity, will it?

    4) How many hours did you log before you started seeing results? Did you combine this with a manual or pumping routine?

    5) Do length gains come at the expense of girth? (Law of conservation of matter XD )


    I hope all of you who have previous experience with extenders will be kind enough to comment back. I've had the darndest time trying to find direct answers to these questions on here. And feel free to add any other words of advice!

    I'll try my hand at this
    1) there is a lot of variation in use, I think a fair few people wear for 4 hours, some less some more. I think the idea is when you get more practice you can get everything fitting comfortably and conditioned allowing for more use. Depends on what you do during the day too. I think quite a few people wear for say an hour a day and still see gains, just slower.

    2) yes that is normal, have a break if it worries you to return some circulation

    3) not sure about this one, I think it would be ok. Maybe get a comfort pad or add something to the penis/noose interface to lessen the harshness. Maybe a bit of fabric or something

    4) i think 600-800 hours is the norm to see gains, though the principle of individuality is in place, some may take less, others longer. Some people do extender only, some combine it. If you have the time I don't see why you shouldn't do both, unless you want to dedicate 100% of your time to extending

    5) some people report length and some girth gains with extender usage but I'm not sure how common or significant it is.

        Law of conservation!!!! Ha. That applies to a isolated system i.e. nothing is coming in or going out.
        Dude i guess if you stop eating and taking shit, i think then that would be the case you are talking about.
        You can't just apply any theory to your penis, and if you want to then please have thorough understanding of that theory.

        Definitely Class 11 science knowledge is not going to help you in PE theories.

          Tatti87: To be clear, the part where I noted "Law of conservation of matter" was intended to be humorous. But the question still stands. When in the extended state, my penis is longer than normal, but it is also stretched very thin. I'm curious whether anybody has noticed their length gains coming at the expense of girth. Rohhypnol's comment suggests that they do not, and Chirk's agreement implies that he, well, agrees. I hope that's the case, but I welcome any further comments that any of my peers (pe'ers) wants to add.

            do you read other threads at all?
            DOn't worry about your girth while stretching/extending/hanging, it will be fine.

              Of course I read the other threads, Sir Kyle. I did a search for "extender" within this forum and read everything that seemed remotely relevant . I did see other people ask the same question. I did not, however, see many definitive answers. I saw a lot of answers like yours, but that's not really helpful. You didn't say that you had any experience on the matter, you simply stated "don't worry about it" in the same manner that I did when my nephew asked if he needed a helmet to ride his scooter. I was hoping to get more people to respond to this thread, so I put together several questions that I wondered about extending. Most of these are questions that I've seen several times but they don't seem to get answered very clearly or deliberately. I was really hoping that if several people who actually have experience chipped in, this thread could help future searchers find their answers all in one place.

              I do appreciate that you took the time to answer, SirKyle, in spite of the condescending tone of your reply.

                I think SirKyle was saying that losing girth at expense of length is pretty much unheard of. In fact the opposite is more likely to be true, that you may see some girth gains. The reason for this is due to the tunica being stretched so that it may expand more in all directions, and not just longitudinally.

                  I started to see results at 200 hours, I don't think anyone extends 12 hours a day every day. I usually do 6 hours a day but I have read a lot of people who had success around 4 hours a day. Just do what you can, im on a break now because of a small blister I think I will need this whole week off. Good luck

                    I extend 12-16 hours per day with great results. I have found that it definitely does add girth. I remember when I first started extending, my penis would look all stretched and skinny in the device, but now even stretched in the device the girth is considerably thicker. I extend 350-400 hours per month and its my favorite part of PE!
                    I also do 1 hour of manual PE on a 2 on 1 off schedule, don't be afraid to mix it in! But to answer your questions:
                    1) yes, 12+ hours per day is definitely possible!
                    2) yes, i have found it normal to have cool glans while wearing the device. Take care to closely monitor things at first until you get a feel for what is normal. Pain, throbbing, tingling and numbness is not normal!
                    3) i have had some very minor decreased sensitivity but in my case is been a good thing! ( Way better stamina)
                    4) 500 hours or so i would think you should see some positive gain
                    5) extending has been a great girth gainer for me

                      My answers to your question would be:
                      1) Every product were made and sold with specific instructions attached on how to use it. Instructions are unique with each product so I advice you to follow what is attached with the one that you are using.
                      2) It is normal since your penis is stretched but relaxed.
                      3) It will not lead to sensitivity since the skin is streched but the nerves are not damaged.
                      4) The result should not be visible in hours. It should take days in fact months to show results.
                      5) Girth will not be affected for as long as the process is slow. Means that the muscles adopts as it grows slowly.

                        How conveniently can you wear it with your clothes? I wear tight boxers, slim fit jeans and sit down at work a lot. Would the extender be usable under those circumstances?

                          XitemeM, BBS, Donjelqer76,and josef91: I thank you each for your comments. It may seem overkill to thank each of you, but I really do appreciate every bit of experience any of you can offer.

                          josef91 - Just to clarify (for both you and future readers) #4, I know that it will take many weeks to see results. When I asked about hours I meant cumulative, as in BBS's 200 hours or rohhypnol's 600-800. Still, I appreciate the comment. If I had been confused and overeager (or if a future reader is) that would have set me straight.

                          bizkid: Unfortunately I work at a gym. Athletic pants don't hide this very well. Besides, I've find that I have difficulty staying strapped in whenever I stand. I can maybe walk to the kitchen, but within 3 minutes of standing I always pop out.

                            My answers are the following, based on my using an X4 Labs extender since June 1, averaging about 100 hours a month.

                            1) I usually extend for about an hour and then take a break, often times because I need to go to the bathroom (I drink a lot of water and coffee). I usually take a few minute break before strapping in again, though this depends on my schedule. Throughout the day, I extend on average about 4 hours.

                            2) Yes, it is normal to get cold, though I have heard you should remove the extender soon after this happens. I think coldness/numbness is more of a problem early in one's extending experience. This hasn't happened to me in awhile.

                            3) My penis also gets tender in the noose spot, but this goes away within minutes. I haven't noticed any decreased sensitivity.

                            4) I saw results within two weeks, but this wasn't a change in size; my penis just felt harder when erect and stretchier when flaccid. I think I had my first noticeable erect gain after the first month, which was after about 150 hours of extending. I grew .25" in length that month. Since then, I have averaged a gain of about .125" each month. In total, I have gone from 6.5 bpel to 7.25 bpel. I haven't done any manual exercises, but O started using a Bathmate in mid-July. At first, I used the Bathmate regularly for girth gains, but I now use it only occasionally, as I felt it was having a negative impact on my EQ.

                            5) I don't believe that length gains come at the expense of girth. I have gained about .25" in girth, going from 5.0" mseg to 5.25". At least part of this, though, might be due to the Bathmate. I plan to focus on girth exercises, in particular clamping, once I've reached my length goal of 8.0" bpel.
