The cylinder that fits well and is most comfortable is the best to use. Look for a cylinder with thick walls, flanged edge, or heavy silicone cushion (not a sleeve).Valued Member of 12+ years at the PEGym12/'09 (start) NBP EL - 4.5, EG - 4.4

some times price does, in most cases actually in my opinion but if you get to look at the cylinder and make sure its not the wrong size then if you know what you are actually lookig for you may get a cylinder somewhere and a pump somewhere else, most cheap pumps are crap though. A few guys here set themselves up good like not2big but he knew what he was looking for.Going an inch and 1/2 deeper than before

Lets define " get the job done".
The cylinder will fit. Too big in circumference & you will suck a nut up inside. Too small, and it won't let you expand enough.
Cheap fittings, and it will leak/not hold a vacuum.
The pump, no gauge is not safe. you need to research safe vacuum to use so as not to damage your penis, rupture surface capillaries. Mix in how long to "pump"/ time in cylinder.

I used some thing like this one, available from Auto parts stores or Amazon
( Amazon.com: Actron CP7835 Vacuum Pump/Brake Bleed Kit: Automotive )
I've seen this kit on sale for less than $25, it connects easily to the fitting on most cylinders, however, do your research. Stay away from all plastic pumps, they can break easily.

Yeah higher priced ones tend to have better quality, but you can still get good results with ones under 100 dollars. Just make sure to ditch any plastic hands pumps and get a heavy duty metal pump for the cylinder. ^ and yes alot of automotive stores sell brake bleeder pumps which will work well I can vouch for that.
