  • Testicle Comfort and Extenders

I've had my extender (Penimaster) for a while now, and I try to use it at least three times a week. Most people recommend wearing it for 4 or more hours, but I never seem to get past 2 without some serious testicle pain. My penis feels fine, but the device somehow seems to suck in some ball skin and I get a lot of pain from the ball skin stretching. When I take my extender off, my scrotum usually looks a little red and shiny where the skin has been stretched.

Any recommendations on making this more comfortable?

Some have cut foam padding(door weather stripping, one side is adhesive backed) and put that on the base assembly.
You could try putting some Vaseline on the base so that the scrotal skin slides more easily as the stretch is increased.
    Some have tried baby powder.
What happens is the surface of the skin is being pulled and is ending up as broken cells, irritation, redness.
It is important to let the skin heal, before doing much else, but this is your call.

This is one of the uncomfortable parts of extending - but it can be improved!
Here are a few tips that should help significantly:

      - When you first slide the base over your penis, pull upwards on your penis to pull a little extra slack skin up from the scrotum through the hole in the base. This will keep the skin from stretching so much. In fact, I get in the habit in pulling in all 4 directions to pull in as much surrounding skin as possible - though its especially important getting the scrotal skin to pull up some.

      - A cloth barrier helps tremendously, as the plastic won't be able to adhere to the skin and stretch it. There are 2 ways you can do this... A) Find a scrap piece of soft cloth (flannel for example) and cut a 2" x 2" square off of it. After putting the extender on, lift up on the bottom of the base and slide the scrap piece of cloth between the base and the skin. This helps tremendously! Or B) Use a sports wrap tape around the bottom of the base - donn't make it too thick, just enough to provide a friction barrier between the plastic and the skin.

      - Every few hours I find it helpful to go somewhere private (bathroom), and point the extender upwards for a minute or so, while at the same time massage and move the skin around at the base of the extender - then point it back down as usual. I normally find that after I do this, it creates a new pressure point elsewhere thats good for another few hours.

      - A warm, loosely hanging scrotum makes it much less uncomfortable. If you are able to wear something warm (especially in the groin area), this will help a lot as well.

      Good luck!

Hay Dangler. If I recall correctly you mentioned a year or so back that you were able to reduce the discomfort at the base by carefully pulling your testicles through the base before strapping in. Do you still recommend this technique? I have recently experienced having one testical slip through the base while pulling up some scrotal skin and after the initial sharp pain everything seemed more comfortable with the testicle through the base.

As an after thought, I remember seeing a comfort cushion especially made for an extender base on the Autoextender web site. I think it was offered for about $30, plus shipping.

I could never fit all my junk through the opening, some have. I tried, however I was not comfortable only having one in one out. I think that user was pfm, over at the x4 forum.

            Dangler,

I'm trying the weather stripping tip right now. Thanks! We'll see how it goes.

+1 comfort is essential as you really need to do 8 hours or more per day. If you are using a noose, buy one with a rating of 60SH, as the standard noose is 66SH. This makes a big difference to the head as well as not cutting of blood supply and cold head.
