bathmate problems after a promising start

Hi all ,im looking for some advice regarding the bathmate hydromax . Ive been using now for just about five days. Days 1 and 2 brilliant .I got on with it straight away and was really impressed with it ..As recommended i started of with just 15 minutes and was impressed .Day 3 however i couldnt get it to anything ..It couldnt get enough suction at all .Day four i decided to shave and as i read more tips i bought some vasaline and smeared it around the gator as ive been informed the comfort collar can be done without but the same thing happened ....not enough suction and would not stick!!
My question is this ...CAN ANYONE TELL ME WHAT TO DO ?? Im not sure what im doing wrong after a good start .Is there anything i can check regarding the valve at the top ..I did take this off to wash it the other day ,could i have put it back in the wrong way ??? any help would be great .

Firstly check the valve function. Fill the unit with water, hold upright. No water should flow unless you press the button. Secondly pump the BM against your hand. You should be able to get it to hold under suction.
It's probably the valve by the sound of things.

Im guessing air is coming in from the valve. I use it in the bath because of this reason. You need to angle it up more. If i use it in the shower i pump then switch the valve to closed. After that it should hold suction and you can put the valve back to open.

Hey thank you both for the quick replies..im going to check the valve in the morning but i must admit it does look like air is coming in through the valve . I cant press it against me any harder.. if i take the grey nib out of the top is there anything i should be aware of ?

Revolved... we havent got a bath so it has to work in the shower for me ... thats the annoying thing it worked perfectly for two days.

wolfmother, I had tried pumping it against my belly ,its bigger than my small hands lol. it did stick but not as firmly as i thought it should.

Dood, i had the exact problems with 30. This problem only occurs with the new and "improved" valve. You need to angle it almost straight up. I can almost guarantee that it has nothing to do with it not suctioning to your body, if you cant get suction angling it up.. Just pump, switch the valve, switch valve back, pump again, repeat. If these dont work theres something wrong with the valve. I usually do the first pump while completely submerged in water, then continue with it angled up and i have no problems anymore.

Resolved... I understand what you are saying but i only have a shower so i might struggle .i simply dont understand how it worked the first few times fine and now it doesnt..going to give it another go soon.I will keep you posted, thanks once again.

Guys, suck cess! i gave the valve a tweak and everything is back to normal..just had a ten minute session and will do it again this evening. My cock curves upward and rubs on the tube and i found that a smearing of vaseline on the head works wonders .i should be able to get some good sessions in this week so i plan on two ten to fifteen minute sessions.

Oh im old enough to remember that series ... The first time around...But Master isnt that the reason we are all here because we want to fix something that isnt broken but just needs tweaking

What do you mean by tweaking the valve? I may need to do this as well. Thanks
