  • Attention pumpers

Has anyone thought about,,,or even tried to attach a pumping tool (brake bleeding pump) to a bathmate? Will the pump still create a vacuum pump with water??? can the hose be extended to avoid sucking in water?? This COULD work! What do you think??

It could work theorethically, still I am relatively happy with the current design.
Wouldnt adding this system, stop the quick vacuum release from working though?

I don't know. would be great to be able to get a good pump without all the pressing and squeezing though.

How would you connect a hose to the Bathmate? Air pumps come with a female connector to attach the hose to the tube.

i was thinking about drilling a hole for the fitting and epoxy to seal and bond.

It can be a nice idea, but what for? Increasing suction? If you fail, you may lose your bathmate and the money you wasted with it..

One problem I could see if that if you damage the cylinder you will get much higher stresses on the material and it will be prone to cracking and failures. I dont think you want a plastic cylinder bursting on you under a large vacuum

Also, it CAN be tested before use,,,,if you think about it,,,,using a handheld pump in conjunction with the bathmate, you can easily test on a piece of fruit or even just a flat surface. As schlong,,,,I mean as long as she doesn't implode, we would be good to go!! ;-)

I have an air pump, but I know that with a water-trap I can use it in the bath. When I graduate school and get an apartment I'm buying a thick wall elliptical cylinder, the DP4000 electronic pump, 20 feet of tube, and making a water trap out of a 10 gallon bucket.

Very interesting! So you think it is a feasible idea??

Yes, waterpumping works with air pumps, you only need a catch can (many brake bleeders already come with one) to catch the water before it gets to the pump. Many people have been hydro pumping for years with this technique. Plus, its so much more comfortable than the bathmate!

I've only ever tried dry air pumping. I'm looking forward to water pumping in an air pump, it sounds like an awesome technique. In about 18 months from now I'll be living on my own. A bath tub will be a necessity for me when choosing my apartment... but for you older bachelors imagine this set up in a hot tub! Anyway I want to get the electric pump because dry pumping is too damn messy. The electric pump sounds like a great hands free solution. Of course, if I'm investing $400 in an electric pump I might as well have the best fitting cylinder money can buy; and this is my plan for cementing gains in the future!
