  • !! Really confused trying to fit phallosan- help !!

Either I’ve misunderstood so many things or the phallosan forte is either flawed, ridiculously hard to wear or just (most likely) not properly explained or illustrated given the amount of questions I’ve had to ask here.

    1) Ok I’m stuck here with the phallosan. Firstly I’d like to know why the protector caps not shown in the video as it implies contrary to the instruction manual that it’s not needed?

    2) I assume you open the protector cap as wide as you can with your fingers before fitting it onto your penis gland ?

    3) When I my penis goes as thin as my biggest finger on the gland where it constricts it so tightly (I didn’t bother attaching photos for you to suggest it’s done inccorectly or is the ways it’s supposed to be) and removing it is a bit scary and slightly painful with the pulling force necessary to do so too, is this how it’s supposed to be?.

    4) How you roll the condom all the way up to the bell (as it gets progressively tighter each time you fold a layer back until you stop short of the bell)?

    5) Even after getting it to assume the correct position air escapes each time I pump (does this suggest using the medium condom despite the template showing me to be large on the shaft though perhaps medium on the gland?

    6) How do you remove the condom from the bell (again not shown in instructions) and no mention of going to the toilet (something you can’t do quickly, especially if you have to pull so hard on the protector cap just to remove it)?

    7) Finally why does it show things in the video (such as the belt to fasten the condom to your penis or that dangly cord that connects the 2 sides of the belt together) when none is provided (nor should it be according to the manual) or was this part of the old phallosan (if one exists) and if so why not update the video?

There is definitely a learning curve. I'll do my best with these...

    1. I don't even remember the video honestly but I use the protector cap with mine and I have been using it every single time since I started 2 months ago (~500 hours in the device). If I remember correctly the instructions say to use it for the first 6 weeks (? - length of time may be something different) until you are conditioned to the vacuum and then you don't need it anymore. Lots of guys seem to prefer it without but I wouldn't try it at first if I were you.

    2. Yep, that's exactly what I do. I stretch that thing wide with my fingers and put it on the glans making sure there is no air in the end to prevent edema and blisters.

    3. Not quite sure what the question is here...do you mean the protector cap constricts your glans significantly? If so that happens to me too but then you enter the bell an pump and get expansion. It doesn't hurt when I take it off, I just put a few fingers in the cap and remove it (doesn't take much force at all). You will notice that the protector cap will stretch (deform) a bit over time and that will probably make it easier for you to remove.

    4. You just roll it. There are some good pictures here and a really nice video of the process here.

    5. Hmm...if you are having air leaking then the first thing I would think is that the condom is too big so try a size down. Also, make sure there isn't any powder on the inside of the condom as that can easily cause slipping too (and they are usually coated in powder when new).

    6. To remove the condom from the bell (to wash it for example) just pry it off. There is a ridge on the bell and a groove in the condom that fit together to hold them in place but the condom is just stretchy silicone to it's easy to get it off. When you put it back on make sure the groove in the condom is over the ridge in the bell, if you get the position wrong (particularly too high on the bell) you can tear the condom.

    7. Frankly I have no idea (and really don't understand this question either). It's easy to use, once you have the bell/condom piece on your penis then you put the foam ring over your penis and place it at the base, wrap the belt around your waist, and attach the connecting pieces at the end of the belt and the end of the tension aparatus at the end of the bell.

Good luck my friend. If you have any other issues you should bring them to the support thread stickied in the devices forum where most of us read and post on the phallosan

I found the phallosan reeeally easy to get used to. Especially compared to other devices I've tried in the past.

With regards to taking the protector cap off, just roll it off rather than pulling. It's designed to not slip off so just pulling at it obviously isn't going to work.
