  • Started Hanging

So my Bib starter finally arrived few days ago, and I've been hanging 2.2 lbs for last couple of days.

I think i got the wrapping and bottom gap right on the second day as it felt so comfortable, i just hope it works as i progress in weight.

The only minor problem is a small twist in the shaft, how much twist is acceptable ? would a bad twist make hanging uncomfortable ?

    Thanks everyone.

Hey bro go read hanging 101 on pegym if you have not already. You have to take things slow with the weight because if you jump weight to fast you will build a tolerance to the lower weight and will hinder your gains. I mean you wont gain as much if you dont take the weight slow ride the fatigue and move up after you can no longer reach that fatigue.

It's hard to avoid some twist. You should be fine up to about 45 degrees twist. You can always hold the hanger against the twist and then release to see if things hang straight again - or even hold it straight the entire time hanging.

What I liked to do, was hang sitting down, and let the skids of the hanger contact the front edge of my chair, and this would hold the twist straight as well.

Appreciate your advice bro, my twist is less than 45 degrees for sure. I guess it's all good then and i can progress with the routine.

            Thanks again

I had some bad twisting problems in the beginning with the starter. contacted BIB and we got it worked out. I simply toed out the hanger and adjusted the bottom gap accordingly. Haven't had any twisting problems since.
