A cock ring is essentially the same principle ... although you'd ordinarily wear a cock ring around your cock and balls while clampers will often avoid the risks that accompany that practice and just clamp around the shaft. Go to the clamping guides on this forum. You'll see that some people suggest more than one clamp along the shaft.

So theoretically yes, a cock ring will add girth ... the only variable being that you probably only use one in the circumstances you've described every now and then. To see results you'd need to be a little more regular and systematic.

And you're right about being longer when you were skinnier ... or at least, appearing longer. The more fat there is above your pubic bone, the less of your shaft you're going to see ... especially from the angle that you are looking from.

I don't know. Maybe if you wear one every time you have sex and have sex or masturbate/edge daily. I don't recommend using one in place of a clamp though. Could be dangerous if you get too engorged and can't remove the ring. You also won't get anywhere near the pressure you would with a clamp.
