  • BathMate suction issue

    2 days ago my Bathmate arrived and I hopped into the shower to try it out. Unfortunately, I couldn't get good suction/sealing. I am pretty sure the valve is not faulty. It's just that when i am letting the device go, all of the pressure disappears due to leakage in the base of bathmate. As a result I have to push the device against my scrotum at full force i order not to lose pressure due to air leaking in. Of course that is not possible, it's extremely tiring. I have not just trimmed my pubic hair, I have shaved completely. I have also tried to pull my balls down so their lose skin does not interfere with the base of the device. Nothing works. As soon as i stop exerting FULL force against my body - and i literally mean full force. The slightest drop in pushing power results in leakage -, air leaks in from the base. Has that happened to anyone? Is there anything i can do? I am really frustrated. I hope my money didn't go to waste. Thanks in advance and excuse my english (not my native language).

    Reminder.: As it appears the problem is not from the valve. It's from the base (I am not using the comfort pad. It makes things even worse)

    Hi Iamthedude.

    I experience the same problem if I try and use my X40 while standing Therefore the only way that I currently use my Bathmate is lying in the bath with the seal between the body submerged and by doing this I don't have a problem.

      yea the issue though is that I cannot take a bath at home. Shower is my only option. I do not think and definitely hope that this makes the bathmate and thus my money go to waste...

        I am in the same boat, it works better laying down, still not the best though. but that is not practical for me to take a bath on a regular basis. The x40 i have is to big , (that's my hunch) my fat pad is not wide enough to give the x40 much to grab on. I would hope the x30 would be that much better for me.... Not sure what Ill do with the x40 I have I'm waiting to see if they will take it back.

          The most common fixes I've read for this are;

          Trim/shave seal area
          Make sure valve "nib" on top is positioned correctly
          Remove comfort ring
          Use Vaseline around seal

          Here ya go guys. Struggling With the Bathmate
          Going an inch and 1/2 deeper than before
