  • manual vs mechanical jelq

I will be switching to a girth focused routine in a couple months at my one year PE mark. I have read many post on girth routines, sore hands, grip, etc. My question is if anyone has done jelqs manually as well as mechanically (mason jar gripper)? Is one more beneficial and what direction (grip sides or top/bottom) worked with gripper?

Some have used the mechanical device. There are threads with people giving thier reviews. It was good if I recall. I have only melted with my hands, but I use a rolling pin sometimes. Not exactly the same, but similar.
