  • Hanging and rest days?

    Heya all!

    My question is about hanging and rest days.

    Is it true if your not hanging every day you will heal shorter?

    I understand that the idea behind it is to create microtears inside the penis and then on the next day recreating the same action. Repeating this daily will eventually make your penis longer.

    At the same time those who do manual PE have rest days when they are doing manual stretches even though it is not constant stretch.

    I have been hanging in total for 6 months or so and have hung daily 7 days a week.

    Those who have been hanging for longer time do you hang daily or just certain amount a week? I'm asking this since my EQ is getting lower.

    Time wise I'm not hanging as long as I used to hang 2 hours a day with BIB (20-minute sets). Currently using LG hanger and doing less weight but in total for 1 hour(30-minute sets).

    I do believe that when hanging you should try and get at least 5 or 6 days a week. One off day won't hurt you.

    If you run into a situation that you can't hang for 2 or 3 days just do a good 5 or 10 minute stretch session and that will pull out any adhesions.

      I always felt with both extending and hanging that 1 day off a week was far more beneficial than not taking any off. 2 days off is nearly too much for me. 1 is perfect. My EQ would turn to Shit without any rest days. Do what suits you,not what you read about. PE theories are just that,theories.

        Purple, you are far more experienced than I, so I'm not here to give any advice- just my routine. Since I work 24hr shifts, my best week is 3-4 days hanging. On my off days, I try to get 2 sessions of stretches in to help accommodate my lack of hanging. I'm hoping not to hinder myself and to make some good gains this way!
        Initial: BPEL 5.8" MEG 4.5" FL 4.0"
        Current: BPEL 6.5" MEG 4.75" FL 5.25"
        Short term 7"x5" Long term 8"x6"

          My man does 15 minutes of jelqs after his shower everyday. 3 days a week he does his all night ball/penis stretching routine. The other days he rests. This has been his PE workout for a little more than a year it has produced very good results and no fatigue (and he's 68).

            Or instead of taking a full rest day you could do a reduced version of your standard hanging routine. So instead of doing a full 1hr 30minutes of hanging you could do 1/3,1/2 or 3/4 of that

              I do take rest days when my wife is around, but if she werent, then I'de do 6/7 days. 2 days off does feel too much, may add back manual stretching one of those days.
