will wearing a Penis Extender comfort Strap upside down hinder my gains

pensonally i feel i get a way better grip using the comfort strap upside down, i feel it grips better behind the gland of the penis moreover i don't use the foam ring, instead i just apply a thin strip of toilet tissue behind my gland.
