I've read the forum and the routines and all, and definitely took some of the exercises and put them to work, and I'm pretty sure I've seen some "gains". Might we not have to get so technical and worried about specific programs, and still get some gains? Just basically stretching it around when u think of it and are in a private place, and maybe a little jelq before/when jerking it. It may not be as complicated as we make it out to be, kind of like lifting weights?

At another pe site, there is a guy that has implemented an IPR protocol successfully where he just works out for a few weeks, maintains passively for a few more weeks (double the time or so) and then takes off for months.
He has gained quite respectively.
That is also why a punctuated theory has its merits - taking off every now and then is actually quite important.
Perhaps its even more important than the actual workout, if you look at that protocol..
But perhaps its just a thing that you have to find out whether it works for you or not.
Doing it "half-assedly" is not actually quite half-assed, there is a theory behind it, you can optimize it to that and increase the efficiency. If you wanna go that route,
I suggest you to read up on it (here)!
I do not buy his explanation, I only buy the taking off part, which I have proven to myself that it works.
Id like to say that the guy is trying to overwhelm others by using fancy words. And as an engineer myself, who actually knows some of the terms he is using, I can clearly say he is just throwing out some words, because it does not make much sense.
