    Hello fellow PE'ers.

    Some of you may be familiar with my log over in the progress section, if not it can be found here: https://www.pegym.com/forums/progres...gress-log.html

    So, today marked 3 months of PE for me, in particular of PESG's Beginner Routine. I successfully gained 0.3" NBPEL and 0.2" BPEL (I think more NBPEL due to reduced fat pad from weight loss) but unfortunately I didn't gain any girth.

    I posted over in the log, but I thought I'd make a separate post (mods, I hope this is okay) to ask for recommendations on where I should go from here. PESG is clearly working for length, but the two problems are (1) it's quite long (nearly an hour including warm-up and warm-down), and (2) it's had no effect on girth.

    I'm considering whether it would be a good idea to move over to Big Al's jelq free routine to save on time and hit girth more, but would very much appreciate any thoughts/suggestions on to what routine would be most appropriate now I'm sufficiently conditioned.

    IMO, achieve length goal and then target girth.
    You never slow down, you never grow old!

      Since you are conditioned now i would go for girth. My first 30 days of P.E i did many jelqs and kegals. After 30 days i started new routine with V Jelqs and Squeezes and so far very good results.

        PESG over emphasizes warmups and warm downs. Whereas warmups and warmdowns are useful, and they definitely help prevent injury, you don't need to spend anywhere near the time he does with a sack of hot rice on your crotch. 3-5 solid minutes soaking with a hot washcloth is enough to warm up sufficiently. Work the muscle and stretch it out.

        PESG's whole routine was 10 minutes of jelqing, with a 10 minute warmup. That shouldn't be taking you a whole hour to do. Also, stretches shouldn't take you more than 5-10 minutes.

        10 minutes of jelqing isn't going to do a whole lot for girth either. It will help your EQ, absolutely, but PESG was an easy gainer. Don't expect his results.

        My suggestion is to either move up to girth focused work, keeping jelqs in the routine (5-10 minutes for warmup) or jelq for a longer period of time, up to about 25-30 minutes for each session.

          Thanks Jay. Are there any particular exercises you would recommend other than basic stretches/jelqing now I'm conditioned?

          Thank you ghostringer. More length gains would still be nice so I'm not going to overly prioritise girth but I definitely need to find something that hits it more. Squeezes seem like they could be a good idea, as per Big Al's routine.

          Interesting point on warm-ups and warm-downs, I was doing 10 minutes of each (the warm-down being my daily shower, so that wasn't too much of a problem) but it would be useful to cut down the overall routine time, even if by only 5 minutes.

          The 1 hour was calculated as follows: 10 minutes warm-up, 10 minutes stretching, 10 minutes jelqing, 10 minutes edging, 10 minutes warm-down, for a total of 50 minutes, plus an extra 10 for anything in between (e.g. getting lubed up, letting EQ drop if I got too hard during jelqing, and so on). I guess PESG didn't actually edge so maybe the extra time in that regard was my fault.

          Either way, I completely agree with your point about PESG being an easy gainer. I don't expect his results so easily and I'm prepared to put the time in. Thanks again for your suggestions.
