  • What promotes length?

    There are things people do to keep their penis in an engorged state and therefore promoting the girth gains, wearing a cockring seems the most popular way to do it. But what if I am aiming for length - what can I do to promote length by keeping the penis elongated? I always get good stretching sessions but my penis just turtles without any reason (no overworking, good sleep, everything fine) and I feel like that can impede with the length gains.
    What have you done besides regular stretches to enhance the effect of the exercices for maximal length gains?

      Perhaps the turtling is do to how you warm up or warm down?

      This is a stretching session that I do:
      • Two fisted grip on penis, left above right, and alternate squeezing of hands <count of 35 squeezes>
      • Maintain grip, pull penis away from body <35 pulls>
      • Switch grip, right hand above left, squeeze hands simultaneously <count of 35 squeezes>
      • Maintain grip, keep arms in place and do pelvic thrusts <count of 30>
      • 5 slow jelqs left hand
      • helicopter twirls to left, <count of 50>
      • 5 slow jelqs right hand
      • 5 direction stretches, <count of 35 each way>
      • 5 slow jelqs left hand
      • Pull penis straight up, two hands gripping head, keep penis fully stretched, lock elbow, do 60 shoulder raises
      • 10 slow jelqs right hand
      • Helicopter twirls to right, <count of 50>


      As for what really promotes length, it is hard to say. The research explains:

      "... since it has been considered that successful gain in penile length was 1–2 cm [ 1 ], length gain from medical penile traction therapy is similar with outcome from lengthening surgical procedure in many data. Therefore, although lack of rationale and evidence data of efficacy for traction devices remained as problems to be solved, these devices would be one of the good alternatives for men seeking penile elongation."

      The literature on devices is relatively recent and does not include long term, only short or middle term, like 4 to 6 months. There are guys on the 'gym who have been at it for years.

      "Tissue growth occurs as a result of tissue adaptation in response to application of chronic traction...This process is thought to be cellular proliferation like the process of distraction osteogenesis resulting from bone lengthening procedures by using traction... Prolonged traction force on tissue results in an adaptation reaction at a cellular level, which thereby results in the expansion of the tissues."

      "Mechanotransduction is a cellular signal transduction in response to mechanical stimuli, which resulted in modulating almost all aspects of cell function, including cell growth, differentiation, migration, gene expression, protein synthesis, and apoptosis...It is thought tissue growing against chronic traction is one of the tissue protective mechanisms to try to loss of mechanical strength by subsequent collagen degradation...In addition, depolymerization of collagen fibers by increase in degradative enzymes induced not only weakening of the fibers by collagen degradation but the increase in newly synthesized collagen, which resulted in providing the extension of the tissue without trauma."

      "Therefore, the use of traction device is not just to stretch the tissue mechanically, but to actually induce tissue growth to make real gain of additional penile length"

        Some people say a majority of length gains is going to be from releasing the "inner penis" while the remainder will be from the actual lengthening of the shaft itself. This theory I have not tested however I am currently aiming at gaining more length also.

        I agree with the poster above, the routine he posted seems good also. I would advice you to find what works best for you however.

              Hanging worked for me...It was really the only thing that gained significant length and I tried everything else beforehand.

                Disclaimer: I've never used devices and don't want to go much longer than my 1" length gain at 8" BPEL, I have also not done Jock's cock ring challenge, but I've read enough to have a grasp of the mechanics and intent behind both

                From what I've read on various forums, the closest to Jock's cockring challenge would be wearing an extender for long periods of time. DLD's place Matters of Size recommend using one and it's an extended wear thing that keeps your penis stretched, like a cock ring does for girth. I don't recall seeing anything similar on PE gym, but be warned that MoS guys tend to go more hardcore with little to no resting, and that could result in injury for you. They also cost money, which is something to consider if you're just starting out or don't have much to spend. Hanging is also very popular for length around ere, so look into that if ou're struggling for gains.

                I haven't done any devices or hanging, but having a very long warm up with a heating pad (1 hour+) and at least 10 min warm down combined with intense stretches targeting the tunica (tunica tugs and bundled stretches) followed by edging got me the .5" BPEL after the initial .5" from basic JP 90 stretches over 3-5 months. I credit the long warm up for really loosening up the tunica and the edging for keeping my elongated rather than turtling for about half of the gains, though I understand my gains may be less than what you're going for. The warm up is a long time but if you're stationary in a private place it's a good time to do it then when you're going to be stationary anyways.

                  When just working on length (or maintenance) I will do that 3 times a day 5 days a week.

                  I usually will do 3 months more intense, with this routine being a morning warm up, and then two other more intense routines with uli stretches, etc. Then I will do 3 months of less intense, where I just do this type of routine 2-3 times a day. Takes about 10 mins, so good for a quick bathroom break at work.

                    Simple.. get a Stealth device! It's called stealth innerwear, Google it. Probably going to be the best thing for you instead of keeping an all-day stretcher on 24/7. If it worked for me it'll probably work for you.

                      Promoting good EQ is good for boosting length gains in combination with stretching exercise. Static and/or dynamic stretches performed in a manner which targets both the basal ligaments and the shaft itself will induce the most length.

                          Actually, I was thinking about this. How did it help you exactly? Did your flaccid size incease? Or did also your erect size increase?

                            You do it 5 days a week 3 times a day?? Thats a lot!
                            I am doing my stretching routine just 3 times per week once a day and I was thinking that I may increase it to 5 days a week. But 3 times a day? Dont you have problems with EQ after so much workout?

                              It helped increase my flaccid and erect size because it helped my penis heal in an elongated state. Does giving me more blood flow possible when I was erect. My EQ also increased after I started wearing it. I lost mine a few years ago but ordered one again, should get it by this weekend
