  • Alcohol and Hanging

    Does anyone here think that drinking a few (3-6) beers during a hanging session would slow gains? I see how it may effect jelquing routines, possibly, by compromising the level of erection needed, and may leave you less 'plump',for as long, afterwords. But I don't see how it could negatively effect stretching your ligs/tunica, while hanging BTC.

    Obviously getting very drunk could pose some problems, with safely completing your session,but, a mild or moderate 'buzz' should not be an issue, IMO. Anyway, I am wondering what you all think, and, if anyone else has a few drinks while hanging. It really helps me relax, and deal with the boredom, of sitting in one place, the whole time, while watching a movie or whatever. All thoughts are appreciated. Thanx.

              Thanx guys for your input. Cusp,well it kind of does, to me,it's relaxing and helps beat the boredom of hanging. To UYN, appreciate your thoughts,but that's really an 'apples and oranges' comparison. I do workout and would NEVER consider drinking while doing so. I've had to roll 200 lbs. off my chest before, while benching,ha.(when I was younger and maybe a bit dumber) As a side note: I now bench press with the 'plate locks' off,on both ends of the bar, so that if I can't lift it off my chest, I 'push' to one side,dumping the weights on that side which then immediately shifts and dumps other side. I workout at home and don't always have a spotter.

              Sitting still and hanging weight from my penis, while having a few beers, doesn't seem as life threatening. Mainly,I was wondering if the alcohol might hurt gains,but I've never heard this proven before. And again, I'm not talking a '5th of liquor',just 3-6 beers. Thanx again! Dugger

                My buddies dad is a plastic surgeon that specializes in reattaching and growing fingers. His claim to fame is growing to full length a boy's fingers that were dwarffed sence birth. He basical put bungy cords on the tips of his finger and then cut the bone. Then slowing increased the tension, sound familiar. Two years following the kid went fish with us and was able to handle the real. Now to think he did that without a pain killers is just crazy. I too like a few beers when I'm hanging, I feel like the hanging is the cut and my extender or adh with a pound or so is the tension that grew that kids fingers. But then again drinking slows down tissue repair. If I was worried about that I'd have to stop drinking all together yet drinking will sometimes get you laid which is the reason for the work outs and peing. Oh god what to do.
