6 MONTH UPDATE:
I haven't been updating regularly, but have thrown in some notes. On Monday, I will have been doing consistent PE for six months. I have a few free minutes so I'm gonna give some summary on my last month and most recent findings/thoughts. Caution: This may be long winded.
PE Workout... I have been working out consistently for all six months, short of a 4 day layoff after some annoying aching. I have been consistent, BUT flexible. I shoot for a 2 on / 1 off approach, but don't cry if life gets in the way. I have taken as much as two days off in a row a handful of times, but if that happens, I try to PE three days in a row. It's more art then science.
My workouts have remained the same for the most part. I've dabbled in clamping, pumping, and squeezes. However, I come back to the same workout, just with increased intensity. I'm still warming up for ten minutes (rice sock), stretching in 5 different directions (Up, Down, Left, Right - 70 seconds each, then outward and in circles for about 2 minutes), then jelqing for 100 strokes.
I've increased my erection level after making great length gains to start concentrating more on my lagging girth gains. I think it has helped a bit, but I am definitely a slower girth-gainer. My jelqs are now half and half underhand OK jelqs, and UJ's. I switch it up. One of the things I've enjoyed doing is a UJ, holding the grip below the glans, then using the other hand to OK jelq and watching my veins nearly burst out of my skin. I'm figuring that after a few months of this, my girth HAS GOTTA increase. *This is a fine line between pain and pressure though, so I have been very careful to not overdo this and cause injury.
PE and sexual health related thoughts... My EQ has never been better. So far this month, my woman has had sex with me 35 times. She has made me orgasm at least a dozen times besides that. We have been together almost three years. This is admitedly an above average month. I usually average about 40 orgasms with her per month (she actually keeps track on her calendar, not me). Our sex averages between 20-90 minutes. Most sessions go about 35-40. I'd say about 5 times, they go for 5-10 minutes as its usually the second time of the night and she has had too much wine to "come" so she just lets me have her real quick before bed. The 90 minute sessions probably happen 2-3 times per month when our kids are at their other parents' for the weekend, so don't go thinking I'm too much of a stud.
Much to the contrary of a lot of forum members, I think all the sex has INCREASED my gains. Everyone talks about not turtling and keeping their penises full as long as possible. I have A LOT of sex. I am erect a ton! More than I ever was before meeting her by like tenfold... for real. In my experience, I would say edging is amazing for gains. I think the problem is masturbation. If you start to edge, its gotta be worthwhile if you are going to orgasm. You can't just be done in 5 minutes. It will zap you of your motivation to do it again. People need to make sessions last. Whether its sex, masturbation, edging, whatever. I don't think its the act of orgasm that limits gains. I think its the repurcussions of lack of motivation. *Would I edge every night for 40 minutes? Hell no. But sex is a greater motivator. So yeah, I'm a lucky asshole. I know that. But from my experiences, I've gained the wisdom. If she broke up with me, I'd try my balls off to edge every night for the amount of time that we would usually spend being intimate. For the record, I'd probably fail, but for information's sake, that's my advice.
Actually, for the record, she is the love of my life whether we have all this sex or not, so if she broke up with me I'd probably become depressed and stop touching my genitals altogether. Let's remain positive though!
Porn watching... This has been a struggling battle. I have definitely cut down. There is just something about the laziness factor that keeps me coming back to it for my jelq sessions. For a while, I had porn down to once per week, but now I'd say I'm jelqing to it 33% of the time. I think if I can just bite the bullet and eliminate the old saved stuff I have on my computer, I could finally nip this in the bud. I don't have internet in my apartment, so that would do the trick. I will save that goal for a later date though. Maybe once I completely conquer this six pack in my abdominal region, that will be my next self-improvement venture.
Water consumption... Water is the building block of EVERYTHING. I have been consistent in drinking at least a gallon of it every day for a few months now. My body is transforming, both physically and penilely (that's a new word). In America at least, I think water is one of the most taken for granted necessities we have. People should take more advantage of it.
Protein consumption... I have been trying to average about 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. High protein diets (or lifestyles) have a hundred benefits. It is the building block of muscle, which I am trying to gain (both on my person, and on my penis in the form of smooth muscle). Whether protein affects the penis or not, doesn't matter to me. I just say... it can't hurt. Other than that, protein in all of your meals, snacks will force you eat better, and hopefully less processed carbs that will suck the energy right on out of you. And be honest, since this is a penis form... If you have no energy, are you really gonna feel like edging for a while after your PE workout, or are you just gonna knock one out real quick and go to bed, or veg on the couch, or go eat something else unhealthy now that your insulin levels have spiked?
Empty calorie consumption... I'm not a die-hard nutritionally elite eater. Having three kids, two practical step-kids, and America's gross overindulgence of yummy processed food at my fingertips leads me down the wrong path from time to time. I am just glad that I have got it under control. I don't beat myself up anymore over eating junk food. I definitely limit it though. For whatever reason, I've adopted the cliche... "My body is my temple." Whenever I eat, I tell myself this. This has saved me from junkfood binges a good dozen times weekly... haha. For whatever reason, that phrase is working for me. One of the only things we can really truly control in this world is our "person." We own our souls, but our body is ours to control. For me, freedom is found in building it to be better despite my growing age. *I don't like getting towards my mid-30's. It sucks, actually. I want to be as healthy and happy as possible forever. I'm going to fight the losing battle with age every step of the way.
Supplements... I've learned to slow down my supplement intake, and have just recently added in a new one. When I first found the 5 G's and any info that would tell me I can increase my load size, or my erection, I bought it... took it all, then felt like I was gonna die from nausea. I am in love with the idea of the five G's. I also like a few other supplements... multi-vitamin, L-arginine, L-Lysine, Yohimbe, Chromium Picolinate, Selenium, Zinc, and Lecithin. That's a lot of freaking pills. I want to work up to maybe 5-6 per day, and constantly be cycling in and out new ones.
As it stands, I'm up to three. I take a multi-vitamin, zinc, and gingko biloba. I take each one with a meal, saving zinc for my largest meal so I don't keel over in a vomitous rampage. When I added gingko last week, my EQ sky-rocketed. I don't think its some miracle supplement or anything, but maybe its just the introduction of something new. Shit... maybe its a placebo-effect, but I am thrilled nonetheless. I think I will add something new in every few weeks, then start cycling. My theory: Keep my body guessing and keep my rock-hard erections.
Workout... I'm starting P90X, week 9 tomorrow. I haven't followed it to a "T." I don't work out six days a week. I wish I could, but I just can't. I don't beat myself up over it anymore. That said, my body looks a million times better than it did a few weeks ago. I am already in great shape, but now I'm in even better shape. I look to keep getting better. If you aren't familiar with P90X, it is an awesome workout plan. It is strict, commonsense exercising in a pretty boxed-up package. The principals and workouts are anything ANYONE could do on their own. P90X is not a miracle; just a very good regimented product, which is why I turn to it. I have too many interests and things going on elsewhere, and I get sidetracked too easily and end up working out only three times per week. P90X is designed to work me out six times, but I get it in five times per week. Over the course of a year, that's an extra 100 days I will work out. So it works for me, hence my loyalty to the program.
That's a basic summary of my last six months and my goal-oriented activities. Please feel free to discuss or ask me any questions. PEGym is an amazing place, with amazing purpose-driven people. I enjoy giving back. I have triumphed, and I have failed. And I'm willing to discuss both if it helps someone else out, the way I have been helped.
Sincerely,
Bob
