I see most people on here say that thier streatched flacid lenght is longer than thier erect length. Mine was the same measurement from day one, and I haven't gained any length yet, I did gain +0.75" in girth though. I was just wondering if there is a relationship between the 2. I am starting to think that there is a point when the flacid length and erect length become the same, that there is no more room for improvement? Any insight on this?

Doubt they will ever be the same, it is more likely that the BPFSL will be longer than BPEL. As for you gaining 0.75" in girth, well congrats first of all, secondly. I find that to be weird, since THC Theory says that you should be likely to focus on your length by adding a couple of more stretching exercises in order to increase the BPSFL vs. BPEL ratio.

Hmm my bpsfl is less than my bpel , I did a stretching only routine for some time without success. This was fairly recent so gains are geting hard to come by. In the end I decided to listen to my partner and go to maintain anyway but remember thc is just a theory.

I started out with a longer bpel than bpfsl(by .5"). My bpfsl then caught up and passed my bpel(by .7") and has remained that way for months(I have not been as consistent as I used to be, I just can't get into it like I use to) to actually find out if bpel will actually catch up againThe power of the mind is our strongest tool.

Numerous sources I've read say that the stretched flaccid length is a pretty accurate guide to erect length - I therefore would say BPEL or BPFSL equally are good guides. I've read a lot of reports where doctors / researchers have used stretched flaccid length as virtually interchangeable with erect length. However, I'm not a urologist or a sexologist, so I can't be too adamant. Someone else may be better qualified. I just read way too much.
There is a poll on this: https://www.pegym.com/forums/poll-fo...tch-vs-el.html
My FSL was the same as my EL until I started PE. Then as soon as I began stretching with an extender, my stretched length became longer than my erect length. So now currently BPFSL is about 18.5cm whereas BPEL is about 17.5cm.
I think this discrepancy is a function of PE. Somehow my dick is different now, but I can't really say how ... or even whether I'm just focusing too much. Certainly I took all the measurements etc. before starting, but this is something more subjective. And that FSL vs EL thing is tied up in it somehow.Last edited by Banana Bender; 05-01-2011, 05:00 AM.

Exactly THC is just a theory! I did the same thing but girth only routine because my limiting factor was the smooth muscle. Guess what no girth again only lengthOriginally posted by Pegasus View PostHmm my bpsfl is less than my bpel , I did a stretching only routine for some time without success. So my advice is just keep working and be happy with whatever gains there are.

Thank you all for posting. I think I'm going to get an extender to see if that makes any difference. I do my stretching every session and some quick rotations throughout the day. It has only seemed to help my FL, but I keep on trucking. Thanks again, the replies were encouraging, as I thought I may have been the only guy like this.Current: as of April 1, 2011--BPEL=7.5" EG=6.0"

I too am interested in the relationship between stretched flaccid length and erect length, mustbc. It's maddening because no one can seem to offer concrete evidence proving whether there's truly any correlation or not -- not even the PE vets.Originally posted by mustbcrazy View PostI see most people on here say that thier streatched flacid lenght is longer than thier erect length. So, I have a stake in all of this because, unlike you, my NBPSFL varies quite a bit from my NBPEL:
At the start of my PE 'career' on Jan. 31, 2011, my NBPEL was exactly 5.5, whereas my NBPSFL was an easy 6.5.
After an impromptu, unofficial measurement last night (I was talking to my lady on the phone and became aroused
), it appears that I've gained at least 3/4" in NBPEL (giving me roughly 6.25) while my NBPSFL (as of this morning) is still just under 7".
What I've concluded, and not necessarily rightfully so, is that I had and still have plenty of room to sort of "fill out" my stretched flaccid with erect length. Make sense?
Even if I'm correct, what happens if I reach a point where my erect length catches up to my stretched flaccid? Will my gains stop? Will I, like you, have an equal-length stretched flaccid and EL at some point and begin gaining a lot of girth? While I thought that I was gaining girth very early on, I've probably gained only about an 1/8 or so, although the shaft is much more uniform and the girth is distributed more evenly.
I guess the only thing to take away from any of this that you gained girth, and your SFL and EL are/were the same.
I gained length, and my SFL and EL were quite different.
I've probably only muddied the waters here.
Beginning Stats (1/31/11): NBPEL - 5.5 x 5.0 EG - Boring!!
Current Stats (5/5/11): NBPEL - 6.25 x 5.125 EG - And who said PE doesn't work? ;)
Goal (by 9/1/2011): 7 NBPEL - THEN it'll be a party!

You've gained almost an inch in girth? Damn - congrats!! That's a big positive at least!!Originally posted by mustbcrazy View PostI see most people on here say that thier streatched flacid lenght is longer than thier erect length. Thanks, funny thing is is that I gained it very early on. I think within 2 months time. I do feel extreamly lucky about that. When I started I had spots all over my penis. I think it was proof that it was stretching. Anyhow the spots have gone away now and I have stopped gaining. Not that I'm worried, I think I am in the same boat with every one else. The top of it didnt get any wider, the belly of it swelled up quite a bit. It is very veiny now and has an upward curve, which makes sense to me. I am very greatful and feel very lucky for my gains, I have the folks on here to thank.Originally posted by GettinThereOK View PostYou've gained almost an inch in girth? Damn - congrats!! Not at all. Acctually I am thinking along the same lines as you. I think that I have to make my SFL longer than my EL in order to gain length. I think I need to do this by stretching. Once my SFL is longer than my EL, i think jelqing will expand the tissue making it longer. It seems that mine is trying to get longer, but can't because the ligaments are holding it back. I think this is the reason it is curving upwards. I also think this is why some people gain length from jelqing and others like me do not. I have no medical or biological background at all, but it mekes sense to me. I have become very interested and curious about how the body works. One one hand I think, how can everyone be different if we are all made the same way? And on the other hand I think, how can we all be constructed the same if we are all so different? Well, the only thing I can do is test my theory.Originally posted by Gemini View PostI've probably only muddied the waters here.
