  • tunica tugs, girth or length???

    ok so I have her people saying recently that they use tunica tugs as a girth exercise however far as I know tunica stretches do NOT increase girth size! exercizing the tunica is supposed to train length over girth so how could it possibly train girth? also you are doing it with a completely flacid penis and correct me if im wrong to train girth ususally you need a minimum of a 50% erection:/ anyway I have been using tunica
    stretches for two months now and have only seen length gains, 0.2" to be exact and no girth changes.

    So tunica tugs.... a girth exercise? or a length exercise?

    That is exactly what I thought!!
    I don't think it is possible for tunica tugs to gain girth.

      As far as I know tunica tugs are aiming to stretch only the tunica not the ligaments which will lead to easier expansion of the tunica. But yes I do believe that they target mainly length but they really help with the ULIs and edging.

        i have been doing tunica tugs for a little while now bc my tunica is my limiting factor. sence ive been doing them they have helped my girth. yes it does add length but it also expands the tunica so the smooth muscle can fill it out, which in return makes your dick fatter. you really need to find out what your limiting factor is and make a routine around that. i would give you details on finding it but there is a detailed thread on this in the theories forum on here. look up TGC theory. this is how i structure my workout and my workout hasnt been better. it is a must read for anyone doing PE. hell you might find out that tunica stretches is not what you need to be doing to gain girth. it might save you months of frustration.
        START 8/1/10:
        BPEL= 7"
        EG= 5"

        6/1/2011:
        BPEL= 7.5"
        BPFSL= 7.625"
        MSEG= 5.25"
        BEG= 5.5"

        GOAL: THE INFAMOUS 8 X 6

          The length of time I've been at this. I've come to one conclusion.

          I look at it more this way.
          -Stretching exercises target the tunica.
          -"Girth" exercises target the smooth muscle.

          Both will give you gains in length and girth. You can't gain unless you get that tunica stretched out. You also won't gain if your smooth muscle can't fill out your tunica.

          Finding out what your limiting factor is and keeping track of this closely is what's most important vs. what exercises we do I say.

              There's a detailed sticky in the Theory forum. But think of it this way, (I'm paraphrasing the sticky; these are not my words) imagine a bicycle tire, or car tire, or whatever tire. It has the outer tube, and the inner tube. The tunica is the outer tube, and the smooth muscle is the inner tube. You can have an inner tube as large as 6 inches in girth, but if the outer tube is only 4 inches in girth, your entire tire won't ever get bigger than 4 inches; you'll have a rock hard tire since the inside is trying to bulge out the outside, but the outside won't let it. Ever. The converse is somewhat similar. If your outer tube is 6 inches, but your inner tube is only 4 inches, you'll never fill it up and just have a flat feeling tire.

              By doing tunica tugs, you're helping the outer tube be more loose and have potential to grow. But you won't get a bigger tire if you don't increase that inner tube, too.
              Slowly cutting down on sleep... who needs it, anyway?

                  Errr... you're going to have to ask someone else for that bit of info.

                  Just out of curiosity, why do you want to know where the smooth muscle physically is?

                    I was unsure whether I needed to change my routine so I wanted to find out as much info on the smooth muscle and the tunica as possible but I can't seem to find a diagram of the smooth muscle(I want to physically know which part of my cock I should feel being worked) I was wondering if it really existed or was just a PE theory.

                      Well it's in the theory forum for a reason. If your routine works for you, don't change it. If it doesn't, change it. Don't base your routine entirely off what people tell you; you have to experiment for yourself.

                      When you fill your dick with blood and feel expansion, I think that's the smooth muscle. Or at least those exercises work it.

                        Okay cheers mate, I'll stick to what I'm doing for now and if I don't gain in afew months I'll have a proper look through the theory behind it and see if I believe it or not.

                          The Corpus Cavernosum (CC) and the Corpus Spongiosum (CS) are the smooth muscles. They are a type of involuntary muscle which cannot be flexed or relaxed like your skeletal muscles, i.e. pectoral, quadricep, PC muscles. These muscles in the penis are naturally flexed and constrict bloodflow through the deep artery into the penis. When stimulated the muscles relax and blood flows more freely which lengthens and thickens the CC/CS. The tunica is a fiberous membrane like a tendon or ligament and less dynamic than these muscles. Like tendons and ligaments, the tunica can lenghten but it is harder to accomplish.

                          I think tunica stretches/tugs accomplish both length and girth because once the tunica is loose the desired growth is contingent upon subsequent smooth muscle growth. I suspect that when the tunica is effectively stretched girth growth can become more prominent if girth exercises are emphasised.

                          I'll let you know what I find out in a couple months; tunica is my limiting factor and my growth goals are 15% length and 26% girth.
