I went and looked at how big 9" is. When your women say that they are most likely overestimating or purposefully exaggerating.

You know what is "funny" (in a concerning way) is when I look down at my guy I don't think it looks big. It is just...normal, unimpressive nothing to talk about...it is something I have experienced my whole life so it just seems normal to me. But, when I lay the ruler on the table and I look at the 7" mark, I think that looks very big. Seven inches on the table is bigger than seven inches in the pants--perhaps that statement should be in my signature, haha.

I am 6'4" and my arm span is 6'8." My forearm is 10" from the crease in my elbow to the crease at my wrist; from that crease to the top of my middle finger is 7.5." I cover up my hand with a piece of paper to take that visual out of my perception and I feel 100% confident that Tommy Lee is certainly not as long as my forearm. He is still big, I am guessing 7.25-7.5". NoNo, I wasnt referring to you biggD, it is your thread but you stated how you determined this, your post was well thought out and legit. I am referring to the general response overall and my statement was not intended as a personal attack, I actually enjoy your posts and the manor with which you create them.
I also do not find you a hypocrite. I did put not everyone in parenthesis in my post, this was done because I didnt want anyone to take it the wrong way, my intents where for some who just jump on and go yeah, I think its not that big either just because they are guessing or more like hoping but I can go back to the woman dont know how to tell size threads and find half of the posters in this thread were also posting in those, so I guess some of these people will say they can estimate size then say people cant estimate size.

Most of the women I have talked to about penis size explain how they determine it. They use there hand(s) such as during a blowjob. They may not be exact when they express their estimates on a man's size, but we also don't know where the point of origin is. Is it from the top? Not likely since they don't get that angle. Is it from the side? More likely. Is it from the bottom. Still likely. For example, to me, my cock looks huge when I look at it from the underside (while laying down on the bed I put a mirror up against the wall and look into the mirror). This is one angle that porn uses a lot (woman on top).

Our penis looks the smallest from our point of view because the top of our penis is the first attachment point. BPEL give us the most legitimate measurement, but it also gives us the angle in which a partner never sees. Thus, penis size is very different in perceptual terms and offers a very valid reason for women overestimating size and giving men a reason to exaggerate their own size.

Either way, I dont trust 'inches' guessitimate from most women.

There are a large number of individuals who come here and they start generalizing (i.e. women are liars, women don't understand actual penis size, women want a man with a big penis, etc). So, my comment before was simply suggesting that such a position would be futile if they seek progress. I can see it now:

Woman: I was with a guy last night he had a huge cock!
PEGym member (male): Oh really? How big?
Woman: He had to be at least 10" long! It was the biggest I had ever seen!

I am not saying everyone would do this, but there are many men who would and this is certainly not the approach one should take if they wish to remain civil while seeking progress/understanding. Far too often I see men and women in normal conversation make the same mistake, if the conversation were about something one of them felt insecure about then I could see it escalating quicker.

Not sure what you are getting at. I have been in situations where I am the shortest person in the room and I am 6'4." Normally, over the course of several hours, when walking around campus or when I am walking downtown I see maybe one or two guys that are taller then me. Welcome to the world of variation. Just because it happens that 4 out of 30 are over 9 inches doesn't mean that is always the case. Yep, another useful example would be this. I live in a town of 250,000 people. So, on average (some people keep forgetting this is on average) there are 250 people here who have a 9" cock to swing around. If a University has 25,000 people then there are, on average, 25 guys who have 9" meat poles.
