  • Is Andractim and AndroGel the same thing?

And if so, can you use the 1.62% androgel the same as the 1%androgel, and do you apply directly to your penis?

They are not the same thing. Androgel is testosterone and Andractim is dihydrotestosterone.

The warnings that tell you not to apply to the penis and/or scrotum are because absorbtion rates in scrotal skin are something like 400% greater than other areas of the body. This could result in absorbtion of way too much of the drug.

1.62% Androgel is more concentrated than 1% so you can apply less of the 1.62% for the same result. T-gel needs to be absorbed into the blood system in order to be properly processes into the endocrine system. It is recommended that it be applied to the shoulders and chest because it is a large area and as a result more readily absorbed. The upper body is also recommended because it is usually covered by clothing and less likely to be transferred to females and children by mistake. It is also highly recommended that it not be applied to the genitales which tend to get into contact with females

Unless you are Jonah Falcon, your dick doesn't provide enough area to allow proper absorbtion,
