I started at about average length, but well above average girth. Didn't know this due to being a big guy (300 lbs) and a weight trainer. 6in girth doesn't look like such when your legs are as stocky as mine. (not a brag, just an explanation) So I believed I had a smallish penis. It certainly was disproportional. I've been losing weight since before I've been doing PE and gained length which has effectively given me 1.5" in visible length, plus a larger flaccid hang. By the numbers I'm large, but only finally have I looked proportional to my build. My $02 for your consideration.

There are two reasons:
1.average is bigger
2.they are lying about their penis size by adding and inch or so.

What you or anyone else chiming in about their opinion of average think in this case doesnt matter much as your (hopefully) limited experience seeing other guys' erect dicks really doesn't stand up to all those large-sample studies that never peg average BPEL as above 6

I think many here measure incorrectly. I know I did at first. I don't believe anything without a good pic.
