  • Average jelqing time?

    Is there a time limit for jelqing? I'm currently doing 30 minutes, and it kinda sucks, because my hand gets all sore, do you fellas like freeze at a time, or just keep increasing infinitely?

    30min is quite long. What is your routine and aim?

        I have a 30 minute routine or jelqing and then I have about a 5 minute stretch routine.
        Guess I need to start keeping track.
        9.24.2013 7.1 BPEL x 5.75 EG
        11.7.2013 7.25 BPFSL
        11.23.2013 7.25 BPEL Yah!
        3.11.2014 7.5 x 5.75
        12.29.2014 7.75 x 5.75

          Yeah jelqing sucks. I feel your pain. But when I don't jelq or do girth exercises my EQ dwindles a bit, so it is necessary.

          Here is what you can do: DickWhammy found a canning tong online that is ideal for jelqing. I bought one. I love it. It's only $9 and works like a charm. It will save your wrists and you can get as aggressive as you want. But in the end, eventually even jelqing with canning tongs still took too much time out of my day, for me. Now I prefer a clamp for all my girth work. I just get in a hot shower, get myself to full erection and clamp that puppy down. After my shower I take it off. No time wasted in my day. No porn necessary. No effort. And I can keep my gains and EQ up.

            Counting REPS is recommended for a couple of reasons. For one, focusing on the count can help you focus on the exercise itself. While it's a common theme to jelq while you're watching TV, a movie, or some other intense distraction, this is a mistake. By distracting yourself, you are taking away from getting the "feel" of the exercise, and this can have drastic effects on the quality of the movement. By all mean, have some sort of "light" accompaniment like music in the background so that you don't get bored, though. If you hone your powers of concentration enough, you might find that you don't even need that.

            Another reason why you should count is timing. Combining a rep count as well as the actual time of the exercise gives you a good idea of your rep speed- another factor in the quality of your training.

              I usually jelq watching a documentary or something. But i try not to deviate from the exercise, i try to keep my focus.

                I have found that it is great to watch yourself jelq in the mirror. The sight of my balls actually turns me on, and i get to a perfect jelq erectness. I don't count reps, I just keep track of total minutes and keep a record of it.

                  I agree 100%. Watching tv gets in the way of what you are doing and how each stroke feels.

                    I depend on my thoughts and fantasies to stay erect, and if I lose focus I lose eq so I cant count reps as numbers really distract me (I hate math ) cant rely on visual stimulation alone I still have to fantasize, only my favorite genre of erotic novels/stories does the trick, but I won't be able to jelq and flip/scroll pages at the same time, so I time my workout its much simpler this way.

                        Some trainees that dislike counting while training that the extra step of recording themselves so that they can count their reps and review their form from the video.

                          Hey Big Al, since you believe that reps are more important than time, how many jelqs would you consider to be the right ball park for each stage of Pe; beginner, intermediate, advanced?

                            The thing about counting them instead of doing them for 30mins is that if you count them, you can easily get bored and after awhile you will do 100 jelqs a minute because you just wanna be done.
