It sounds like your resolution is too high, what software are you using? There should be a way to change it.

Im using a mac os 2011. not sure what software, just taking pics on phone, emailing to myself, and trying to upload here.

OK, get rid of the Mac and buy a computer!
Haha just kidding.

There should be a way that you can view the photo on your Mac, therefore you should be able to change the resolution with that software.

That's not 8 inches, I opened the link and the dick was more like an inch and a quarter. Just kidding, my PC skills are pretty bad and loading pics is a pain in the ass for me.

If the file is straight out of a digital camera or phone, it is probably very large in terms of width x height. Try dropping it to something like 800x600 pixels and see what filesize you get. Also no point it being above 72-220 dpi, as that's about all you need really unless going to print.

If you have a program like Irfanview you can open the image, resize it and then save it, which should dramatically reduce the file size. I had to do it when posting my 3 month progress picture.

620x280 is the max for pixels, which is still an image of around 75 kb, which exceeds the limit of 19 kb per image, at least for my computer.

Change the extension to .jpg instead of .jpeg, that will solve it.
