I took the survey, and I am so glad noone will know. Hahahaha, I think you should have used BPEL as that is the standard we use to avoid confusion.

I agree, it should be BPEL. The fat pad can vary a lot from person to person. There should also be starting stats included. If members who have gained take the survey, the it is going to skew the results compared to the real world. I'm just concerned about the many individuals with insecurities that come this site and seeing larger than average results. That will only add to their anxiety. To totally satisfy a woman sexually is not about having a large penis, it's about being a good lover.

I don't know my NBPEL genuinely, never bothered measuring it except at the start. I guessed it was around 1 - 1.25" maybe, just to be conservative.

I thought about using BPEL. I went with non-bone pressed because this survey is more about aesthetics (for lack of a better word). The question regarding what men think women want, in terms of size, is more about NBPEL than BPEL. As a woman, I can tell you before joining PEGym, what I saw was what I gauged to be "size."
I definitely think BPEL is a more accurate way to measure, when gauging gains. Changes in the fat pad above the pubic bone (gaining or losing weight) can alter NBPEL. However, since this survey asks for a static (one-time) measurement, this fat pad change isn't a concern.
Hope that helps with the explanation. :-)

Can you explain more about your comment -- "I'm just concerned about the many individuals with insecurities that come this site and seeing larger than average results. That will only add to their anxiety."?
You can see my response to Wishful re: why I specifically chose NBPEL. But, I'm not sure I understand what you're saying. I think insecurities are very important to address, so would love to get some clarification on your concerns.
Thanks!

I shared Cavaliers concern in this regard. Actually your answer to me stresses this concern for me even more. As men our insecurity is often based on what we think our aesthetics are percieved by you the females. Because we think we are lacking in your eyes we feel insecure. Then because we feel lacking in aesthetics we place all of that percirved lacking onto our penis and assume that if our penis just looked bigger then we would be aesthetically pleasing to all the women out there that we want to be aesthetically pleasing to. It is a dismorphic insecurity, but it is highlighted in your explanation about the wording of your survey.ALL THE WAY WITH GOOD OLE JAY!

What I was trying to explain is that there are a lot of guys that come to this site because the have some serious size insecurities even though they are average in size. The members here have had some very good gains and filling out the survey with there current size will put the average size here above the general population. So anyone who comes to the site with size concerns, even though they might be average, will now feel that they are below average when they see the survey results. That's why I was thinking adding stating stats might be a good thing to add. I just don't want to add to the anxiety these guys are having over their size.To totally satisfy a woman sexually is not about having a large penis, it's about being a good lover.

In the results, it will definitely be noted that as respondents are members of PEGym.com, their "average" may be larger than a global average, due to the fact that many respondents are actively pursuing enlargement. This will lead into the discussion of the results of exactly which types of exercises and/or devices respondents are using to reach their goals.
For men new to PE, I hope this will then give them hope that they too can reach their size goals.

However, let me say, I think it interesting women often have this same concern about their bodies and men's (and society's in general) desires aesthetically.

I'd love everyone's thoughts, input, experiences, etc. regarding today's article topic...
The Slippery Slope of Pornography and the Negative Effects on Male Enhancement
As noted at the beginning of the article, it's meant as a discussion, which means it's more valuable when others give their thoughts and opinions.
So, give it a read, and post your thoughts in the Comments section! :-)
Thanks!
