So referring to studies, we often uses the MEG-measurement. But MEG-measurement is not a standard for measuring girth. Maximum/base girth seems to be more normal.
So people complaining about being average or below in girth, please take into consideration that it's not your midshaft girth you should compare.
- Kinsey uses the thickest point: p.120 you can find the insctructions on how to measure:https://books.google.se/books?id=s7…ference&f=false
- Israeli study uses BG: http://www.eng.tau.ac.il/%7Emsbm/li…_12_328-333.pdf
- Middle eastern men done 2015 uses BG:Erect penile dimensions in a cohort of 778 Middle Eastern men: establishment of a nomogram. - PubMed - NCBI
- German study uses BG and head girth: Does penile size in younger men cause problems in condom use? a prospective measurement of penile dimensions in 111 young and 32 older men. - PubMed - NCBI
- A study comparing several studies: (http://onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/…6806.x/full#ss4) just one study uses midshaft, the rest use base girth/max girth.
So people complaining about being average or below in girth, please take into consideration that it's not your midshaft girth you should compare.

as the BEG is a fair bit more then MEG.. My MEG is measured from the edge of the tape and the center, and the "width" of that tape is on the base side before I record it.. Yup Condom companies are only concerned 'bout the "Base.. Base", lol.. On the up side My head is 5" girth just ahead of the coronal ridge, I personally think that is a bit impressive, I didn't measure that starting out but I can tell u it wasn't even close to that..
