  • Do kegel exercises actually work?

    I'm 20 years old and conscious about my penis size while some girls have told me there was nothing wrong. Most girls on the other hand say it wasn't "impressive". I've been thinking about adding kegels to my workout routine and was wondering do they work as far as erection quality which makes it bigger I assume? Also does losing fat make your penis somewhat bigger as well?

    If your EQ is not 100% then yes, kegels with help and you will see gains from improved EQ. Loosing fat will not result in gains but will improve your NBPEL resulting in your penis looking larger as there will be less of a fat pad hiding some of your penis. Actual penis size gains come from your PE exercises.
    To totally satisfy a woman sexually is not about having a large penis, it's about being a good lover.

      Kegels are great at strengthening the PC muscles and establishing ejaculatory control. They also strengthen the penis and contribute to penis size. As a matter of fact, the kegels are listed by Wikipedia as being effective for enlargement!

        If is it your penis size and not the length of time you lasted then you may be better off spending time jelqing rather than doing kegels only!

        What do women define as "impressive" nowadays?
        Starting Point: September 2010: 6.5" x 5"
        Goal: 8" x 6"

              Yes but by how much depends on your current EQ. Think of holding out a hose that has 60-70% of its capacity for water flowing through it - the hose will be fairly swollen but it will still arch downwards when held. Now think of holding a hose that has 90-100% of its capacity for water flowing through it - the hose will be much stiffer and will extend outwards when held.

              Kegels will help fill your 'hose' to its maximum capacity of 'water', alongside improving its ability to trap the 'water' within it, and therefore increase the turgidity of the 'hose' whilst erect as well as the duration of the swell.

              Well, that certainly was a laboured metaphor!

                  Losing fat can help your EQ more than Kegel's. Size is also more a matter of appearance than anything else, once you are in the normal range. I have never heard of Kegel's adding a millimeter to anyone size, if we are speaking of flaccid Kegel's (side note: it's Kegel's, because the first one recommending them was Arnold Kegel, a doctor).

                    How can you not have heard of Kegels adding to anyones size when they are known to improve EQ? That makes no sense. Also, not many men in the PE community do solely kegels. If they're doing kegels it will very likely be in addition to the JP90, extending, hanging etc, which people will usually give all the credit to if gains are seen, rather than an increased EQ helped by kegels.

                        Kegel's don't help much EQ either, actually. If you have bad EQ Kegel's will do about nothing; pumping, jelqing and other exercises will help instead.

                        Kegel's are helpful for urinary incontinence and premature ejaculation.

                          I agree that kegels are beneficial for incontinence and PreE, but I disagree with you that they're ineffective for improving EQ.

                            At least agree on two things I am not making an absolute statement anyway, if one has weak BC muscles Kegel's may help.

                            The level of erection though is more affected by the smooth muscle ability to relax and expand, filling the penis with blood, and the elasticity of tunica albuginea, than strength of BC muscles. If you think at it, you don't need to Kegel' to have an erection; you do a Kegel' when you want to avoid ejaculation.

                            There are both scientific and anecdotal evidence that physical activity and a good diet will have a better effect on EQ than Kegel's, by a long shot.

                            About the original question, Kegel' will not affect the size that you can achieve when erect, whatever the effect on EQ; otherwise you should say that PDE5 inhibitors, yohimbine, sterodis, running etc. can make your penis bigger, which we know is not true. They can help reaching your 'potential' size of course, the ability to fill your penis with all the blood it can take and expand to its maximum or near that. I don't think this is what we are meaning when speaking of 'increasing penis size', though.

                              I agree with everything you said. On the other hand if EQ is a problem then under certain circumstances(physical not physiological) Kegels can help. Using kegels yo help increase gains, you are right, it's not going to happen.
