  • erections during use

I've read that erections are extremely dangerous while extending.

Personally I have had an erection occur several times with the device on, and it did not _feel_ like it was dangerous, it wasn't particularly uncomfortable or tight.

Do I need to be immediately running for a bathroom and removing the device every time this happens?

No--an occasional erection is fine. An extended erection is bad because you could release pre-cum or ejaculate (without knowing or feeling it) in the glans chamber, and then you're in for a murder scene later. (Blood blisters / popped blood blisters / regular blisters / bruising / and so-on.)

How do I know? One can surely guess...

Then, expect a week or two recovery time ensuring your glans has antibiotic ointment on it at all times and doesn't rub against anything because it feels like sandpaper.

Just be mindful. And if you urinate prior to putting on the glans chamber I highly suggest making sure there's nothing left (or you will get fluid in the glans chamber and said above could happen as well).

whoa I had no idea, thanks for the warning!

Why would fluid cause that reaction?

Any air / fluid (space) in between the glans and the diaphragm creates a focused vacuum on the exposed parts which aren't right against it. This is the reason why you blow out the diaphragm when going in--so you can put the glans right up against it before sucking yourself in the glans chamber.

No air / fluid and a proper fit = no owies.

blow out the diaphragm? I didn't see anything about that in the instructions that came with the device or on the youtube videos...I haven't been doing that and no issues so far, but what is it?

Instead of sucking-in, you gently blow out. You hold the sluice ring against the glans chamber, gently blow into the tube (causing the diaphragm to come right to the opening), put the glans right up against it, then suck-in while pushing your glans in.

May not be in the instructions, but gets a better seal and helps cut down the chance of air being in there.

Read through this group and past posts--you'll see doing this has helped many--myself included.

I am so relieved to see that someone else had the same problem. I received my device three days ago. While I was waiting for delivery from Germany to the US, I watched the instructional videos on the website. I think I made a couple of mistakes the first time because I DID end up with a blister near the tip:

              1) I wore it for 6 hours (no break)
              2) I kept getting erections despite the fact that I tried every possible way to distract myself. Consequently, there was a lot of clear seminal fluid in the chamber. I had no idea that this would cause that area to "bubble out" into the vacuum.

How do I work around this? If I have good contact (i.e., blow the diaphragm before inserting) will this avoid the problem? OR do some people masturbate before using the device so that there is a lot less chance of excitement and fluids entering the chamber?

I tried writing customer service, but they are VERY slow to respond.

              Any suggestions are welcome.
