Would you choose your lady friend having a great butt or a great pair of boobs?

The wording that you used makes it that much more difficult to answer. The word "great" is more thought provoking than other descriptive words, such as "big."

To answer the question, there is one song that pretty much sums up my thoughts. They do not need to be as big as the song goes, but nice shapes are a definite.

Thats a hard one for me.. i will check out woman's asses more then their boobs, i think because its easier to check out...i look at other woman's asses to try to gain perspective since my ass is behind me, .. i think its harder to find a nice ass then a nice pair of tits..IMO
that said i do think i lean towards boobs because both men and woman have asses .. boobs are symbolic of being a woman.. and yes i do prefer and like curves on ladies.

Looks like butts are taking it.

I also seem to notice butts more.

If I may wax philosophical about my preference, part of me thinks it's a bit of egalitarianism -- with breats, it's the haves and have-nots, but with butts, really it seems about anyone can have a nice butt.

Also, I seem to feel that, in my experience and those of my friends', that women with larger breasts are less sensitive in their breasts, while smaller breasted women are more sensitive and respond more to attention given to their breasts, I wonder if others have experienced that as well?

Part of me also wants to comfort the insecure smaller breasted-women, and help her see how beautiful she is. There's something kind of erotic and enticing to me about attempting to disintegrate a woman's insecurities and empower her in that way, though I know it usually doesn't do much...

Also, with flat-chested women, sometimes, when they are, say on their hands and knees, and their breasts just protrude down a little bit, with slight curves, I find that so sexy for some reason.

Whoops! Now I realize I put down butts but I'm talking about how erotic breasts are! Maybe I like small breasts?

I don't know now! Something is always more erotic out of the corner of one's eye, rather than looked straight at, perhaps...

I suppose, to summarize, that I don't really see the big deal about big breasts. I have always felt a little disconnected from men in that way -- if a man says to me, 'wow! she has nice breasts!" I'm like, "yeah, whatever dude," and it sounds just cavemanish and vulgar to me. But if he commented on a woman's butt, I would probably look and actually offer my input, it would not be so obscene to me for some reason.

I wonder if it's because there is more diversity in what we like in a butt: big ones, small ones, tight ones, jiggly ones, well-defined ones, ones that teetor-totter a bunch, muscular ones, soft ones... butt-tastes are perhaps not so universal and hierarchal, like the language around breasts.

So there you go -- I am kind of a subversive revolutionary, preferring butts to breasts. It is like an act of resistance against some dominant erotic paradigm, truly fighting the man.

But, and this is a big 'but,' most of you seem to feel similarly. So perhaps it is not such an erotic paradigm, as I imagine...

I feel society frowns on the man who says he likes large breasts, in much the way you describe paradoxfix.

I've experienced this, when during a discussion with a mixed group, the subject came up & I expressed my preference (for large natural breasts). As soon as I did, one girl told me that I had just gone down in her estimation. The implication being that I was some sort of Neanderthal.

It seems to me that the accepted preference is to say "more than a handful is a waste" or that you prefer a nice butt (somehow inoffensive).

So my contention is that the real subversive revolutionaries here, are we happy band of brothers, we defenders of the DD's - the Boob 22+. Join us.

I suppose you feel there is some repressed element regarding the breast preference, some type of politically correct dogma that hides our hidden primordial desire for large, nourishing breasts?

It is hard for me to play the underdog card here, given the numbers being on my side.

I wonder if, given this is a PE forum, that men feel a certain 'size discrimination' and being such, are reluctant to continue the discrimination in reverse, on to breasts, and so eroticize the more egalitarian, the more aesthetically flexible butt.

Do you think? Does the PE forum preference reflect society's preferences at large? Or are we just an enclave of penis-enlarging anti-sizists?

I like the haves vs have nots arguement.

its much the same reason most of us are here. any guy can work out and get a six pack, but some are just born with 8 inches. some chicks are just born with great boobs. and the ones who don't have them are super self conscious about it. we are not so different, men and women.


i still say butts all day.

Clearly butts are the sexual preference of the fair and meritocratic enlightened ones. Not that they need be muscular, or 'earned.' The logic of the nice butt is paradoxical indeed.

We are hardly slaves to the gifts that come from the 'bosom' of mother nature.

Appreciating petite butts, or large butts, we enjoy exerting tremendous control over how we direct our erotic attention, roaming about the size spectrum, freely eroticizing the proportions and dimensions we choose.

And of course, appreciating a big butt has a certain anti-Hollywood subversive quality to it. A kind of liberation from the aesthetics of the runway model.

i think part of the reason boobs have lost some of there impact or appeal to some degree is because of all the fake ones out there .. anyone can buy a big rack now .
Round bottoms are the new black brought partially on from the need to rebel against the fakeness of hollywood .. woman can't fake big round bums like they can boobs .. so the butt became a statement of natural beauty .. The big butt trend also came about because of rap music becoming more mainstream using more woman pushing the boundries of beign sexual provocative, before you had to go to a strip club or dive bars to see a dental flossed ass now you just need to turn on MTV ....Back in the 70's and 80's flat bottom girls were desirable... 90's it was blonds with fake boobs .. now its ethnic blends with round booties. all of these things were influenced by what was on tv at the time.

I think you might be onto something there paradoxfix, we all pursue increased size, whilst at the same time trying to quell the tide of 'Size Queenery' - maybe we just want our increased sizes to be received with applause rather than indifference. I shouldn't speak for everyone, I apologize.

I can see what TTBB is saying on the media's role in dictating or influencing people's preferences, it has seesawed throughout History too.
