Width becomes big when the depth of the penis adds up to enough girth to be massive. The penis isn't a perfect cylinder, so width is a pretty useless measurement. You could be 2" wide while only 1" deep and be just under 5" girth, but you could also be 2" wide and 1.5" deep and be just over 5.5" girth.
At the same time you could be 1.75" wide and 1.75" deep and be a tenth of an inch less than the guy who's 2" wide and 1.5" deep.
