No doubt the pill made a big impact, but I think there have been cycles of sexual conservatism and freedom throughout the eras. I would argue that we see a lean towards sexual conservatism at the moment, with Gen Y seeming to lead the way back to traditional values. Around the 1920s too for example, there was a time of sexual promiscuity, especially in France I believe.Comment
