  • Link Between Hard Flaccid and Porn Use?

I'm posting a poll to see how many HF users have been consistent average porn users, what age porn use began, if they still watch porn, etc...

This is obviously a general poll with holes in it, but my curiosity is perked because there seems to be some link between dopamine depletion and pelvic floor tension. We all know that porn depletes dopamine like crazy compared to natural sexual intercourse.

I'm just curious if the majority of us have been regular porn users and whether or not we are taking this aspect of our recovery seriously enough.

please contribute if you have Hard Flaccid symptoms!

thanks everyone, it might give us some insights on this aspect of it all.

Though we only have 5 voters, so far this would suggest that all HF sufferers have also been PMOers starting very early on in their sexual conditioning.

Can we get some more voters please??

Haven't checked this in many months but was curious to see if we could bring it back.

    Cheers

I also wondered the same thing.
Im not saying that watching porn affects your pelvic floor muscles. That would be stupid, well at least it seems. That's like saying that watching TV affects your biceps.

However I Do believe that porn can affect Hard Flaccid because porn is a super stimulus with leads to people ejacualting far quicker and forcing Involuntary Kegels. Which may affect the pelvic floor contributing to Hard flaccid.

Another side affect of porn that a lot of people have is "Shrivel dick" where their penises are just small and lifeless like. I'm wondering if dopamine has an effect on that, seeing as a porn users brain is lacking in the dopamine department, this must have something to do with it. at least for me I think it does.

I remember a time time before I was addicted to porn. I never struggled to get it up, I never had Involuntary Kegels and I never had shrivel dick. Now everything is the opposite. Currently on the nofap journey

Hardcore Pornography is detrimental when you PMO to it regularly. I don't view hardcore pornography anymore . All that fake screaming & dudes doped up . Anyway it's all false entertainment & foolishness for Pegym members to compare themselves to that nonsense . A good monogamous relationship is healthier than trying to play all the time. I think even edging/Ballooning to hard pornography is bad

I do not believe there is a connection between HF and porn use. Maybe ED and porn but not HF.

We could make a poll for guys that don't have HF and watch porn.

Some guys will say they have both because, forgive me, it gets attention.

I am not implying all guys that think they have HF are hypochondriacs but some get a week election then convince themselves it must be HF.

It's not uncommon for men who've become addicted to porn in a high frequency capacity to suffer from low libido and other negative side effects- which can include hard flaccid.
