  • Negative Side Effects?

    Hello all,

I joined PE gym just to post this question/topic.

I am interested in PE via jelqing and have seen some posts of horror stories such as: my penis has been numb for a year after jelqing, my life is ruined because of jelqing etc. Also, I saw somewhere else (can't remember where and can't speak of the credibility of the source) that jelqing generally decreases sensitivity of the penis. Obviously I don't want these side effects. And obviously, a lot of these stories could be "trolling" by BS male enhancement gimmicks that want to sell you a product, and are trying to scare people away from jelqing (which is free). I know jelqing has been done for a long time but that doesn't inherently make it "safe" or "right." Circumcision has been going on for thousands of years and we all know how messed up that practice is. I guess before I start out on this journey of PE, I would like to know if any of these concerns are legitimate. Of course, one must be reasonable in their approach to this sort of thing, but could even a healthy routine cause loss of sensitivity?

Thanks for your thoughts in advance, I did some searching for this topic and didn't come up with a lot. Was hoping for some elaboration on the issue of sensitivity, both good and bad.

I made great gains with the JP90 and never had to venture into injury territory. I didn't get injured until I added the Bathmate.

There is a small bit of truth to what you have read. PE is safe as long as it is done correctly and carefully. Some of the stories you have read are probably mostly due to an individual who didn't take the time to educate their self on PE, became overzealous in hope of making fast gains and injured their self. PE is a slow process and it can't be rushed. As along as you educate yourself, take a couscous and safe approach you will do fine. Most importantly, if there is anything you don't understand, ask.

Begin with reading in the START HERE! link at the top of the page. Lots of good information in there for someone who is starting out.

      Good luck.
To totally satisfy a woman sexually is not about having a large penis, it's about being a good lover.

Thanks everyone, I would love to hear about personal experiences with regard to sensitivity. Maybe I should post a poll: Positive, Negative or Neutral effects of jelqing on sensitivity.
