Was wondering that too, like when you know your lady is down for some fun that night and you want to be as prepared as possible. I take a Kava Kava tablet that is supposed to help calm you. I'm assuming make sure you are loose and relaxed but not like a full RK workout. Maybe like you said a couple good squats and then just get yourself mentally prepared.
Remember its physical and mental. Getting yourself calm relaxed and focused on the moment is probably another great step. A small meditation session and refocus on your self awareness and relax any built up tension.

Some like to hold off on ejaculating for a day or more to improve EQ.
For those with great EQ but wanting longer staying time, an edging/Stop and Starts session early in the day of expected sexual contact can help.
Wouldn't an edging/start and stop build sexual tension though? People have said cumming once before will help release some tension. That is probably situational though. In the morning vs like an hour before.

I kinda get what you mean about EQ but I feel in the essence of the question to help with PreE and trying to not blow your load in the first seconds, an edging session/start and stop that doesn't end in ejaculation will build the sexual tension. Releasing some tension prior (dependent on the person) can help them last a little longer or a bit longer because there isn't as much built up.
Am I wrong to think this?
When I kegel to hold back Ejaculation in sex, I can go for a much longer time after. But I never get to test if I actually ejaculated if the second round would last longer then if i Kegel stop. My GF is done when I cum so never can test that theory.

There wasn't much details regarding EQ or things during sex being asked but preparing for sex. Like if you know later that night you are going to get with a girl what do you do is what the question sounds like its asking.
Agreed refractory plays a big part during sex on which routes best suit an individual but there are some general things prior to sex people can do that can help get them ready for what they know is coming.
The refractory only would play a part if you are about to have sex run to the bathroom to rub one out before you get into bed. Fast refractories can do this but slow refractories cant. Suggesting to masturbate prior to sex helps relieve some sexual tension and relax you a bit. Yes some people can have lower libido's after and those are the cases this option wouldn't apply to.
That is why other suggestions were stretches and mental prep, things you can do prior to sex but you wouldn't stop in the middle of sex to do a hindi squat

Just relaxing and telling yourself, you only live life once , go in there have fun. IF you have performance anxiety, then be up to par with your training and be confident.
