This stuff has been an interest of mine but I'll stick with the CBD gummies and the like. Plus I do Uber and Lyft as a driver and I get enough contact highs to keep me soaring

Its dose dependant, EQ no, i can still get a good erection on kratom, libido is more affected but if you find the sweet spot its not an issue. The pros outweigh the cons imo, particularly is premature ejaculation is a debilitating problem for you.

I think it can also be used in conjunction with exercises and techniques, so you aren't dependent on a pill or supplement.

My experience onsite for years as a mod specialising in this area suggests otherwise.

40-60 minutes beforehand, start with 2g and see if that works for you

                        Asia
Kratom is illegal in Israel, Japan, Myanmar, Malaysia, Singapore, South Korea, and Vietnam.
                        – In China, I’m seeing there’s no definitive answer on its legality other than being legalized in Hong Kong.
                        – In Thailand, it has been illegal to grow kratom and has been since 1943, but that may not be the case soon. Marijuana and Mitragyna speciosa (kratom) are classified as Category 5 substances in Thailand, and they’re undergoing major regulation changes as Thai officials reconsider these plants’ potential. As of December 25, 2018, the Thai government amended their Narcotics Act of 1979 to allow for potential medicinal uses of these two Category 5 substances.

                        Australia & New Zealand
Kratom is illegal in all aspects in Australia. In New Zealand, it is a Schedule 1 substance, illegal to import and export, but may be prescribed locally by a doctor.

                        Europe
Kratom is banned for all use and purchase in the countries of Denmark, Finland, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Romania, Russia and Sweden. Check local legislation for specifics in Ireland, Italy, and United Kingdom.

                        North America
Aside from the U.S., which you can read about above, Canada has a similar law to that of Denver, Colorado which states kratom is “illegal for human consumption,” so you can find it listed as incenses, etc.

thanks for stating legality, obviously i dont want anyone getting any trouble from the law as a result of my post so appreciated!

im not from america but so many of the states trying to make it illegal is a joke. Given how bad the opioid problem is they should be welcoming drugs like kratom with open arms to help get addicts off hard opioids. Seems to me like they only want it banned so that big pharma can continue to capitalise on methodone and subutex scripts, which is obviously a huge cash cow for them.

because lets be honest those drugs will be worth nothing if the prescription and recreational opiate addicts didnt rely on them to function.

I'm an independent medical researcher and often get involved in drug development. I don't work for any big pharma or depend on their profits. I can comfortably say that the issue here isn't to protect some big pharma "cash cow." First of all, the US DEA and FDA simply don't get in cahoots with pharma companies for such a scheme. That's all fiction. Being on the inside, it's very clear that such a scheme would require impossible to get away with collusion. Secondly, most regular opiates and the like, are generic drugs with low profit margins.

The real reason for the concern about Kratom is that it is just another substance subject to the same abuse and misuse as opium. "Hey, wanna kick your drug addiction? Just switch to taking this here drug which you will also get addicted to!" Makes zero sense. There is a long and clear history of such substances that when they become a "thing", scads of people get in the market to sell it and product quality and consistency is questionable, at best. Some people use it right, some people abuse it intentionally, others don't use it right simply because proper usage is misunderstood, and many get tainted or fake product that could be harmful. That's why the US DEA is leaning toward scheduling it, so it's available, but users require getting the benefit of a docs scripting to use it properly, and the product they get is far more likely to be of high quality. Scheduling will also deter many abusers who would then need to obtain it illegally.

It's worth noting that among the countries that have banned Kratom are also countries where the substance is sourced. Clearly, they aren't so interested in the GNP economic boost from selling the crop. Fact is, they are the countries where the problems with Kratom started and they knew before other countries, that something needed to be done.

Fact is, they are the countries where the problems with Kratom started and they knew before other countries, that something needed to be done.
ill take your word for it, but regardless of money now, would you rather a person was taking a substance that is safe, or weaning opiates like methodone and subutex that are still very dangerous? there has only ever been one documented case of a person dying from kratom alone, the other statistics shows toxicology reports of kratom with a mixture of other drugs. Besides if the DEA are so concerned about adulterated products, then why ban it? surely that is going to make kratom more dangerous as it will be totally unregulated then, whereas now (atleast here in europe) there are several vendors who sell quality and tested kratom.

Also, i do understand that kratom is banned in countries it is sourced, but those countries, mainly thailand, indonesia and malaysia, have a no-tolerance stance on drugs anyway, and being caught with any particularly harmful drug is basically a death sentence in the courts.

I've taken kratom daily for over a year and i'm yet to get any real dependence on it, i can happily stop taking it whenever.
                                The journey begins :)
