Pre-E with numbing spray...theories?

My wife and I gad sex last night. I used a numbing spray. I probably lasted a minute before
cumming. My penis was numb, and I didn’t feel overly aroused.

I wonder if anybody has any general thoughts about why a numbing spray wouldn’t work. I’ve had mixed success myself. I’ve been working on loosening my pelvic floor and wonder if the failure of the numbing spray suggest my PF is the problem, as it may be for others.

Do you kegel during sex?

Not intentionally, and I’d thought my PF was relaxed.

But that’s what I’m after. If not a kegel/tight PF what else could explain ejaculating despite the numbness?

The problem with an overactive PF, is one will think they're relaxed, when it reality they're not, because they're PF is so tense.

Drop the numbing spray and focus on PF stretching poses and RK's.

I was like this before, even with the numbing spray I would ejaculate very quickly.
However since I started stretching my PF, Rks , etc now with the spray I have almost full control.
So work more on the physical side and try after some time. For sure the spray is not the way to go in a long term but could be used temporary to give you some confidence.
