  • PreE training: Edging and ballooning Questions

    Hi All,
So, I am still a TOTAL newbie around here.

I'm still trying to set a direction, a path to recovery. I have just recently had some advice from one of the seasoned moderators here, which I will definitely follow and see how well I improve.

Earlier, though, while reading through the forums etcetra, I came across this thread where it mentions Nyquil. A post subsequently mentioned that the ingredient causing the apparent "cure" of PreE was dextromethorphan.

I went and bought one to try it out. Gulped a dose and 2-3 hours later on to an edging session. I was just as bad as without it.

However, I was trying to find the thread I mentioned above when I found this thread, where another member notes that its effects are lagged and therefore you should take it about half the dose (try and see how your body reacts) twice a day for 2-3 days and you should see the effects.

Now this is not a cure. Obviously, when the drug wears off, your PreE comes right back.

However, you might want to utilise this scheme, temporary solution for an encounter, to surprise your significant other for a special occasion, etcetra etcetra...

    QUESTION....
While you're on this or any other drug that takes away the symptoms of your PreE, does edging and ballooning have any effect? If you edge and balloon under influence of these drugs, are you still teaching your brain to last longer?

    Thanks in advance.

The uses of drugs tends to get in the way of a cure .

      Not that it's surprising... Thanks.

Moral of the story, only use if absolutely, but ABSOLUTELY necessary. Since, once cured, you can go for as long as you trained for, at any instant with out the need to ingest stuff prior to the deed.

      Focus on recovery, on cure!

Ok, I might have to take this question to an older thread where edging is discussed, but we'll see how we go.

In my edging sessions, despite adding lube regularly, at times it get to a point where the lube becomes almost sticky and the FL clings to your member. In the name of getting in 1, 5 or 10 thrusts I keep going.

Over the past 3 or 4 sessions, my glans edges starting being sore, like I have over-worked it or something. Today's last session I started and get go it was sore. At some point I event felt tingling and burning.

          - Has anyone else had this?
          - Will it pass/get used to it?
          - Is it a lube problem?
          - My FL is years old, should I get a new sleeve? Is it the FL?

Please advise, anyone with any information, experience or intuition.

          Thanks in advance.

How often are you edging? Soreness is normal if using the banana too much.

            Try a different lube.

Actually just realised now, after an hour two later. my penis is tender in underwear. Upon inspecting, the section just before the glans is swollen.

Suppose I should take a break...

For the benefit of others, I have consulted with other forum members about my situation. It was suggested that I have overworked it for the conditioning it is at, and probably good idea to rest for a few days. And that's what I'm doing.

Figure out your imbalances and you will solve your preE. All this edging bullshit is wrong. Very wrong. I'm sure most people will continue to do it but in reality the only way to solve this is to figure out your postural imbalances.

Not sure about what you mean by postural imbalances, can you point me to any resources on the subject?

I am doing pelvic floor stretches and RKs for my PF imbalances, but that's not what you're referring to are you.

Also, I'd like to hear about your thoughts on edging. You clearly think it's a waste of time (for the purposes of PreE treatment, so, I'd appreciate it if you would elaborate.
