  • Electroencephalogram (EEG) PRE E Diagnosis and Treatment

Anyone has experience with this kind of Exams and Threatments?

I have been doing an exam with a Neuropsychologist recommeded by an urologist expert in sex disfuctions, and apparently the results of the analys (very hard. to interpret by looking at the images and numbers ) is that i have a natural tendency to Pre Ej, which i have been suffering for the last years.

The treatment they propose and recommend as very promising, is a series of 16 sessions with the same neuropsychoperson, in which basically they will treat me with low tension electric waves applyed to the areas of the brain they recorded as causing on the PRE E.

Naturally the treatment is pretty expensive, and since i couldn't find any trace of medical literature on the internet i was interested in knowing your opinion.

Welcome to PEGym! If you haven't already, be sure to click on the START HERE! button for useful info.

I think what you are referring to here are neural intervention treatments for PreE. This is based on pretty recent science that looks promising. The neurophysiology of this gets deep fast, but essentially their goal is most likely to enhance communication between the ejaculation-related cerebellar region and the brain's control network. Please let us know how these treatments work for you.
    Start: BPEL 6.75', EG 5.8", BPFL 4.5", FG 4.7", BPFSL 7.0"
    05/2021: BPEL 7.65”, EG 6.0”, BPFL 5.8”, FG 5.0", BPFSL 8.0"
    Goal: BPEL 8.0", EG 6.0", BPFL 5.75" FG 5.0", BPFSL 8.5"

Thanks, I have read several times the Start Here and the FAQ, not sure if you guys mention it honestly but I will look into it again.

Do you where can I find info regarding the treatment?

Ask the neuropsychologist for references to scientific literature relevant to the treatment he/she plans to provide. I have a few papers on neural intervention for PreE (BTW, a clinician will most likely abbreviate this as PE, not PreE) but not sure if they are published yet and from your description can't be sure they are the exact same treatment your doc is planning.

Like I mentioned, I think there may be great promise in this area as we've recently found a number of very specific neurotransmission dysfunction correlations in PE patients, especially in those with LPE (lifelong premature ejaculation). These treatments are meant for patients that have been screened for other PE causes and narrowed down to possible neurological causes. I'm assuming your urologist and neuropsych have already screened you.

In my case was useless, I think it mightily reduces a bit of anxiety problem I had but it could be also related to the traditional therapy sessions that were included in the treatment.

My causes are totally physical I can feel it.
