Hello to everyone out there. I want to start a new thread and I believe it can be a help to a lot of the guys out there suffering with this problem. I believe Premature Ejaculation is largely psychological. I have come to this conclusion mainly because of my experience with it. I would say that the only thing that stands between you and your sexual emancipation from PE, is YOU. I know this is a hard pill to swallow, but I believe it is the truth. I am going to re-post my reply to another thread in a following message. I would like to get as much feedback as possible and would really like to help not only myself but the rest of the guys who are either dealing with this problem or have overcome this barrier. thanks .

I want to say that at one point I did suffer from PE and in some cases still do (which is also why I am going to start a thread and encourage responses to that), but I believe that it all revolves around confidence.

Frustrated with PE, I got some professional help and was surprised at what I learned. Essentially, PE is a learned behaviour. For example, masturbation or previous sexual experiences which led to quick release resulted in a conditioned behaviour (cumming to fast during arousal). I was told to adjust my masturbation techniques but also to bring my anxiety levels down. The latter I found and still find to be the most difficult to master. This is the biggest roadblock when it comes to PE because if you are anxious your body automatically gets into tense mode, this means your muscles contract and your breathing gets heavy (these are no-no's if you want to extend your ability to have intercourse).

That brings me to my next part. Am I success story? I will let you guy's be the judges. Since tackling this problem that plagues so many men I have had amazing results and some disappointing results. I would also like to add that I believe I have found the reason for the disappointing results and hope to change the behaviour leading to those results. Let's start with the good:

On a good day which I would say are 50%-60% of the time, I am able to last well past 25 minutes. What has perplexed me is that there are times when I can't even cum. Now I think I should describe what is going on in my mind or at least what I think is going on in my mind------NOTHING, NOTHING, NOTHING. My mind is clear it is as though I am a blank slate. I am calm and relaxed and cumming is the last thing on my mind. Now you can imagine the instances when I am not. In these cases I am a nervous and anxious and have zero to now control.

I do have a couple of questions to the forum out there and would appreciate intelligent feedback. I feel as though the only thing preventing me from being able to beat PE is myself. The reason I say this is because I have performed well and have also been able to control my ejaculation, when I am calm or relieved of anxiety however when I am nervous I stand no chance at performing because I am beating myself. Let me know what you guys think.

Food for thought: The initial factor that helped me to overcome PE was a night with Marijuana. After smoking a joint and clearing my mind, I went to town and had my first good sexual experience. Now I am not an advocate of MJ because that is being counter-productive=== you do not want to become dependant on MJ before Sex. We all know that MJ cannot delay ejaculation but in this instance it relaxed me and if I had one piece of advice for everyone out there with PE it is to RELAX, RELAX, RELAX.

I agree with you. I think many E. D. problems are caused by stress, anxiety and subsequent depression, including the so-called "hard flaccids," etc. It's so much in how our brains are wired. The psychological component in erectile dysfunction is huge. When I am completely relaxed, and there are no interferences between the wires in my brain and those in my cock, the blood is flowing down there like Niagara Falls.
