  • Ejaculation Explained

I thought this might help some of us. I hope it is ok for me to post this. It explains the process of ejaculation. It should help locate PONR, and identify the proper time to do a kegel hold for DO.
Lasting Longer: the treatment for premature ejaculation
    Dr. sy silverberg M.D.
    (excerpt)

The first part of ejaculation begins when the muscles around the vas contract, carrying sperm from the testicles to the urethra. At the same time the muscles around the prostate gland and the seminal vesicles contract forcing the seminal fluid to join the sperm. The first part is complete when the pool of sperm mixed with semen collects at the upper end of the urethra, just below the bladder.
The second part occurs when the penile muscles contract rhythmically, forcing the pool of ejaculate (semen plus sperm) down the urethra and out the end of the penis.
It is important to understand that while the first part is occurring you can still delay ejaculation.
Once the second part begins there is no way to prevent it, short of grasping the penis tightly, to prevent ejaculate from leaving the penis.
(removed this when I copied it) "This is something you should NEVER DO! The only thing you achieve is to delay it for a few seconds, until you release your grasp. Doing this can cause serious damage to the urethra."

Learning to recognize the messages from your body that indicate the first part is occurring is the key to developing control. The sensations that occur during the first part are often described as a "tickling" feeling. It may be very subtle and hard to recognize, and some men are never actually able to clearly identify this sensation.

"you may be able to unconsciously recognize this point if not consciously"
With continuing practice, you will begin to recognize the signals from your body that indicate you are approaching the first part. When that happens, your control will be established. You will be able to come when you want to. In one minute or one hour, whatever the situation calls for, and you won't even have to think about it.
You will be in control, not the reflex and not the anxiety.

I can recognize the level of excitement I am at, and when the PONR is comming, with an amazing accuracy. The thing is im always near 8-9 level and there is no way to maintain it at an erect-but-not-about-to-cum-when-fucking-or-jerking-it-off state, regardless of how relaxed or whatever I am.

Do you suffer involuntary kegels, or pelvic floor muscles spasms? I have found that I suffer spasms, and I am almost always holding some level of kegel while thrusting. Your arousal problem describes perfectly what I face. However, I only face this during intercourse with a partner. It was so bad recently before I started my kegel routine that I was literally ready to cum before I even touched my partners vagina with my penis. For a while there I was a "couple second man".
I used pegasus's theory implications and have balanced my pelvic floor to some extent. Involuntary spasms are almost completely eliminated although I still find it difficult to avoid holding a kegel while thrusting. I also edge regularly. I have returned to my normal stamina of about 1-5minutes.

I bought the book as well, cost me 10 bucks and was a good read and short as well, it basically explains what people on here have been saying only in more scientific terms, but it was worth the ten bucks.

I can feel a pulse between my anus and scrotum when I masturbate as soon as I start masturbating (erect or flaccid). Does this mean the first stage of ejaculation is happening immediately for me?
If so no wonder I can only last 30 seconds
By the way, this pulse still happens even when I reverse kegel, so I'm still strengthening my reverse kegels in attempt to stop this pulse...

I have these spasms. They don't make me ejaculate, though. Lately they've been very pleasurable, almost like mini orgasms.
