    I understand that during sex/ edging I am supposed to be kegeling if I feel I am about to cum hold it and then I'll be able to start once the feeling subsides but when am I supposed to reverse kegel?

    The starting point of edging is usually stop/start.

          Fromt what I know, reverse kegels should be used to relax your PC muscle from involuntary spasms, which will make you cum faster. Know your arousal level on a scale from 1-10, with 10 being ejaculation. A regular hard kegel hold should be done at around 8.5-9. Then to balance it out do a reverse kegel to relax your PC muscle. Then do a backflip.

            After some training with a kegel routine and after doing stop/start edging for some time,one can progress to kegel edging.
            Spasms of the pelvic floor should have been lessened by the kegel/reverse k routine already. Reverse kegels can be used in a number of different ways during edging ,typically they are used early to pull one back from the ponr.
