I feel dooped. This is because I have tried something on the internet that I knew nothing about and hurt myself so really I shouldn't feel tricked but I should feel like an idiot. Here is a little bit of my insights so others should not have to feel like idiots and have pain when they shit. I tried reverse kegels and they seemed to help with my premature ejaculation, i liked this effect however recently every physical activity I have partaken in has led to discomfort because I have two swollen hemorrhoids in my anus one the size of a marble and the other a fifth of that size. This post is primarily a warning not to jump into reverse kegels but also an inquiry as to whether others have experienced similar problems and overcame them while continuing their reverse kegel routine. I am posting this hoping others will see it and be aware of the possible side effects I don't doubt the effectiveness of the exercise.

Hi there,
Yes, I think also hurt myself doing reverse kegels. This has come up a few times now recently. Sorry to hear about the hemorrhoids.
I use this natural external analgesic called Sarna which provides much relief, but I think I may a different problem, I think I kind of pulled a muscle a bit back there. It does seem to be healing but very slowly.
I wonder if Pegasus could weigh in on this...
I completely stopped reverse kegels. I do normal kegels very gently now, and also focus on relaxing the entire pelvic floor. I don't mess with any muscles that aren't on the pelvic floor, no abdominal or rectal or any other muscles while kegeling. And I am slow and gentle.
Good luck.

I don't think you can give yourself hemorhoids doing rk in good form.
Howevevr guys when first attempting to train rk, seem to strain every muscle in their body, they can't breathe, go red in the face ,get sorness in the weirdest places.
Once you are conditioned to rk, you should be able to do them as hard as you like. After all it is just a method to relax the pelvic floor. However as with anything else you must be carefull in the initial stages , try to get at least some reasonable isolation and progress at a sensible pace.

You're right, Pegasus. I feel like I've been over doing the reverse kegels recently and have been having some pelvic floor issues. I also have a tendancy to get hemorrhoids. When I was reverse kegeling I was straining everything down there, pretty hard at times. My lower abs were getting a workout and I pushed my butt like I was constipated. I wasn't isolating the bc area at all.Originally posted by Pegasus View PostI don't think you can give yourself hemorhoids doing rk in good form.
