There are none from mine side concerning IC muscle since I am not doing any pelvic floor routine and mostly just focusing on edging and improving my posture and overall body strength trough different exercises.

      BUMP

i have a tight pelvic floor so my main focus is RK and RRL

as a beginner what i noticed when doing rk is that when i bulge out my pelvic floor as a whole during rk i do actually distinguish between engaging various regions of pelvis by focusing my awareness or imagining a non-existent string pulling out different muscles groups outwards (out, away from body because its a rk)...

its just a faint feeling and iam not able to isolate individual muscle groups yet but i like the feeling that i can kinda move the rk focus from front to back - its subtle shifting of rk strength & focus - sort of like moving your body weight from left leg to right leg while standing... quite subtle...

the area that i feel is most tense and twitchy during the rk is the front pubis where penis shaft enters the body (IC area)... also at the same time it feels most relaxing and unwinding when i succesfully stretch this pubis and shaft connection area with a good rk... it feels really tense and out of conscious control...

      here is the interesting part:

when i vividly imagine having sex and sliding in and out of a warm wet vagina the whole penis shaft and head twitches and tingles with arousal at this fantasy and the IC area also "vibrates" and tingles with arousal (the whole penis from head to IC is tingling with arousal)... so while aroused i tried doing a strong rk with focus on front pubis area around IC (like i was going to force last few pee drops out of my penis) and immediatelly i could feel a significant change in arousal level and quality...

doing rk with focus on frontal IC area, the arousal went down considerably and the buzzing and tingling of hornyness and arousal in my cock lowered a great deal... unfortunatelly erection also dropped around 30%...

this is just a first insight but it looks like rk on IC area can significantly drop my arousal and associated tingling and twitching in my cock... that must be a good thing... the rk on frontal IC area works like a sort of break on arousal quickly rising, cutting it back down... now if i can orchestrate it with other pelvic muscles and overal timing to keep the full erection (keep the IC from tightening too much but not overdo the IC stretching to lose too much erection - kind of a back and forth pulling of opposite forces to stay both erect and not overtightened around IC and pubis)...

i currently practise 90 days of NO PMO (porn, masturbation, orgasm) so i cannot test while fully erect stimulating myself... i might gather more data when i will have sex with my girlfriend again - iam also limiting real sex sessions to minimum for 90 days to reset my dopamine and arousal, thats why THIS IS ALL JUST THEORY untested in masturbation or real sex...

but i thought it would be interesting to mention anyway because this is REVERSE KEGEL on IC (pushing it out rather than clenching)...

what helps me to locate the IC area during RK is imagining a string pulling my dick out of its socket/root (especially stretching along the roof of the shaft where it joins pubic skin/hair) + a strong feeling to piss - to force last pee drops out of your penis urinary tube...

i also engage my lower abs a lot but i cant help it...

its sort of like balooning the whole pelvis with bulging out my lower abs... with mental focus on frontal pubic area where IC is...

BE GENTLE you dont want to damage your weak muscles or cause hernia...

this is not an excercise sugestion its just an observation added to the discussion... it may be contraproductive and i will see much later if this has any real effect when with a real women...

Bump, didn't read the whole thread but I see the member above had kind of similar thoughts.

Lately I have decided my front kegels and rk weren't real front ones, I mean they weren't properly isolated since most of the expansion/contraction was felt just before the anus, but much less in the region closer to the testicles (even midway between testicles and anus).

As I read through the mmo group, I ended on a thread by pegasus https://www.pegym.com/forums/prematu...c-balance.html where he puts emphasis on the "IC" muscles discussed in this thread.

I have therefore started to experiment with the muscles starting below belly button, ending near penis' base , and I've come to the conclusion this is the part I should focus on when practicing front k/rk.

When I do kegels focusing on these "IC muscles" (don't know if that's what they really are, and if there are only these muscles ) , horniness increases instantly, which should be a good thing since kegels are known to improve EQ and sexual drive (or am I messing with the prostate?). I also get more effect on the last two the day after .
As for rk focusing on the muscles mentioned above, my bc muscles puff up much better (near the testicles as well) when I do so.

Which leads me to suggest front k/rk involves the IC/PC muscles group, when back k/rk involves BC/PC (So no real isolation of one of these muscles' group.).

The tips on urine ( front k = stop midflow, front rk = increase urine flow) didn't make me realize this , so I'm guessing lots of beginners do mostly back kegels (or at least both at the same time) even if they think they do front.

Maybe what I thought were back kegels was me clenching the Ilio coccygeus muscles and PC ( they ain't the IC muscles mentioned in the title of the thread, these could be Ischio Cavernous muscles, but I 'm not even sure they're really the muscles at the base of the penis), and what I thought were front kegels was me clenching BC muscles and PC muscles.

I've been only experimenting with these for a few days, so nothing in this thread is assertive yet.

I've been very much into kegels for the past few months. I've read this whole thread. I'm very interested in trying to learn to isolate these muscles as much as possible if for no other reason than it demonstrates good body connection to me. I do experience some amount of intentional isolated muscle usage, which if I had to say is between BC and PC. I'm interested in working towards something more exact.

I played around with this a little and after a while I think I was able to isolate the IC (if it really is). It is like described earlier in this thread like just the first part of a front kegel that retracts the penis into the body without contracting anything else.

Doing this for gives me a strange feeling which I am not unfimiliar with. After several repititions I do get a soft kind of the feeling similar to some signs I do get at PONR. A little bit like an urge to cum.

I remeber having exactly the same feelings when I was a little kid and was always climbing up ropes and lanterns and stuff because I wanted to get that certain good feeling" down the belly which I know today were dry orgasms. I sometimes wonder if perhaps even this early time caused my premE later on, because I teached my body to get orgasms from flexing muscles internally induced by myself without touching the penis ever. I remember doing this stuff from around being 6 years up to 12 years old until the first time there was more than hot air coming out of my penis.

Would love to slap that little bastard in his face for this if I met him now...

I think i found the best way to isolate the IC muscle and work it hard. No need to do a light kegel to see small retractions. A member left a link to a german pdf illustration (it was in english, not the german illustration i keep seeing) though i can't seem to find it anymore, literally scrounging all the threads on ic muscles. The one exercise i took from it to isolate the IC muscle is this:

                  1. Stand up shoulder width apart naked (i like doing this in front of a mirror)
                  2. Now clench your ass cheeks together firmly, like you are trying to hold a coin in-between your cheeks (this is how it was described in the illustration.)
                  3. Now do a Kegel focusing on your Dorsal Base (The top surface of your penis and exactly where the pubic bone and base of the penis are attached) When you do it correctly you will see the dorsal base (top surface) of your penis retract inward and only at that location. Repeat: You will feel and see the retraction at the Dorsal Base (Top Surface, at the Base where the Penis and Pubic Bone meet) When kegeling correctly you should not feel the contraction on your bottom surface of your penis (i.e. the BC muscle)

                  Note:
                  - You may not notice very distinct retractions at first, especially if you haven't exercised it ever. But trust me in a few days it will be distinct.
                  - This does not contract the BC muscle which is located on the bottom surface of the penis near the base. The IC muscle is slightly above the BC muscle (don't look at the wiki image it only displays a flat 2d image, search for 3d images of the IC muscle to get a better angle to confirm) You can also test this by placing your fingers on it while doing your IC contractions. Your B.C. should not contract.
                  - Don't worry about contracting your anus a bit, try to avoid it, but i find it doesn't affect anything negatively, as long as you are contracting your IC muscle firmly you're good.
                  -

At first you want to work it out gradually. I noticed the results in literally 1-2 days. On the 3rd day the angle of my erection increased, my penis was harder, more frequent erections, and at the PONR i could nullify ejaculation by focusing on the IC muscle and flexing it. Through time hold your contractions harder and longer.

                  Some History:
I noticed that doing regular kegels and reverse kegels made me cum quicker, and my ejaculations were also harder. I literally could not stop, it felt too good and i felt i had no muscle control. I could kegel on will and feel contractions, though no matter what i could not stop from ejaculating, so naturally i wondered what i was doing wrong. Then i stumbled upon information that suggests that working out the B.C. muscle actually encourages ejaculation and working it out frequently can help you cum harder and further. Its basically pushing muscle for extraction rather than containment (i.e. pushing out urine and semen). All it took was to isolate and focus on the muscle that promotes erection, which is the IC muscle. My main problems were PE and and the duration of keeping an erection. Focusing purely on the IC muscle solved this. I can now keep an erection and last longer. The IC muscle should really be talked more about because i guarantee the results will be much more effective to everyone having problems with doing regular kegels.

penis anatomy.jpg - This is a good angle so you get an idea.

I want to bump this old thread from re-reading an old thread on another site.I don't know if it has been posted here and couldn't find it in this thread but how to do an IC kegel is different then what is being explained. The way they are explaining how to do a proper IC contraction flaccid is by raising your testicals up and down.

First you need to be fully relaxed and able to and fully concentrate. This is easier if you can take your pants off and have privacy.Try standing or laying down. Now Try to concentrate on just raising your testicles up and down. GENTLY at first! Too hard you will BC. Focus on raising just them and not contracting anything else. You might only be able to do one. The other might be behind and not raise as high. That is fine. It takes time to build the mind-muscle connection and strength. This is like stoping the flow of urine with kegel to get a feel where you need to contract.

This is going to be hard to explain without me loading a picture. I can email a pic if somebody will upload it. The Dorasl side is a bit misleading where you say you should feel If you are doing these raises properly you will feel more near the base and sides of your penis with a little towards the top. Focusing on just the dorsal overshadows the big picture. When you have a good feeling for it try to squeeze just this while having an erection.

This is roughly it. Their is more to it on why this works though on a technical level. I'm not saying it's right or correct or the only way but people where getting results from it. But if you get the feeling right you will feel a fatigue in a new place. I've never put much time in them so I can't personally say either way it works but others can.

I posted that too soon and can't edit on my phone.

The BC and IC muscle are working together in maintaining an erection. Sometimes explain why the feeling to some is mostly on top and beisides the BC being stronger.

"In the rigid-erection phase, the ischiocavernosus and bulbocavernosus muscles forcefully compress the spongiosum and penile veins, which results in further engorgement and increased pressure in the glans and spongisum"

In theory one pushes, the others traps, you could ballon hands free. I don't think it's possible but in theory.

What I wonder since the IC helps constrict the CC and you can clearly see for some a left and right side weakness. Since it. I have a curve to the right side and my right IC is weaker. I sometimes wonder if it's not a smaller CC but a weaker IC not constricting as hard..probably way wrong on that but just a thought.

I hope the description and link to image I posted on the last page can help people get a better understanding on what to do and feel. I think part of the issue is their no "right" way to determine if they are doing it correctly like describing a kegel.Everybodys descriptions of how to do it are different it seems and it starts as a subtle movement like a reverse kegel where some aren't sure if they are doing it right even after being described what to do correctly. I mentioned I didn't these much in the past as I had different interest but since I have a strong focus on EQ , fixing PE, and being MMO I'm starting these back up as of late.

To be clear when I say I don't think their hasn't been a clear "right" way to determine if they are doing it correctly, I meant flaccid not erect. If I was to gently pinch the sides of my penis by my base and do a perfect IC kegel with no other kegel movement it feels the same to me as bouncing my cock up and down erect only milder in that same area. When I hold the same grip. When it gets stronger and more control it seems like it moves even above the BC area.Flaccid or erect if I do kegel and hold that same grip it is a different feeling for me than doing the IC kegel so I feel a difference in isolation and fatigue in that area. Their is a little cross over movement like any other kegel when shooting to learn isolation and thinks it's easier for the BC to take over the movement as it's much stonger muscle.the main part the IC muscle is assisting in is to have rock hard straight out erections(if one side of the Ic muscle is weak or cut it falls to that side). The IC muscle stops the blood flowing out of the CC ‘s amking it very rigid.

As per this document, IC muscle is the potency muscle. It is taken from a book.
You can combine it with other exercises like squatting, bridge and pelvic swing etc.
                                Just posting it again.
