    Do chemical successes count as successes? I used to be able to last maybe 7 minutes on a good day (masturbating to porn) if I really controlled my mind and my breathing, usually it would be more like 3 to 5. I got a prescription for Lexapro yesterday and since then I've been able to go for 30-45 minutes without even worrying about pacing myself. If I actually tried I think I could likely go for hours, as my arousal level stays high, but very steady and pulling away from the PONR the few times I get there is much easier. A kegel routine may work well for a lot of guys, and I plan on continuing mine, but I've got to say, this feels pretty good at the moment.

      you can do it for long time may be half an hour or more by just relaxing your penis when it is about to release, then after it gets into normal start again, doing this 2 to 3 times at the act you can control premature and can get the highest point on excitement for sure.
      this is called stop and start technique. its not easy to stop just before ejaculations it needs a practise try it
      it has helped me a lot

        Excessive masterbation is the root cause of PE, because you train your ejaculatory reflex to release early during sex causing premature ejaculation. The best way to solve PE nautrally and permantly is to retrain your reflex to last longer. Pills sprays and special condoms are not the way to go (atleast not for me). Hope this helps someone!

            I've glanced at pegym before, and fooled around a little with a few exercises, and probably will again.

            But it was this forum that made me register.

            I've been married for 12 years. Three kids. Big problems around sex in our marriage. It was so good originally, but we ran into problems and had massive dry spells during each pregnancy and the periods after. That's a whole other topic, and one i'm working on.

            Anyway a month or 6 weeks ago, after some serious conversations, my wife and I began working on some things in our marriage, and to be more sexual. She surprised me by initiating sex, and we then started having sex ... lets say twice a week outside of her period. She says she has no libido, but she does enjoy sex when we have it.

            I'd never had awesome control, but it was enough for me to usually go 5-10 minutes, and that was enough for her to orgasm. When we were trying for kids, and having not very romantic sex every other day, I could go 10-15.

            Well, not any more. First time I managed to kegel and pause my way to a few minutes and she orgasmed. Second time I had full on p.ejac - within 30 seconds of penetration. I finished her with oral. Next few times it was all I could do to stay (mainly) hard inside her without cumming while she played with her clit.

            There was certainly a psychological component - after she came, I'd be much better. But not great. I hated this, I hated that I was a damn man in his 30's who not only has not much experience thanks to our marriage (and my faults in it) but screwed like a teenage virgin.

            Then I found this subforum.

            I read a lot of threads here, off the top of my head contributions by ByggD, Spanky, Drummer19, Pirate and Pegasus were especially helpful. I started trying to use reverse kegels and could see they helped. I started doing daily edging/balooning and realized ... wow ... for my whole life I've masturbated with stimulation that was _okay_ + fantasy. Actual _great_ stimulation was a shock (not an entirely unpleasant one, but a somewhat stressful one to control). I'm trying to break the stimulation - ejac link. I'm trying to learn to be aware of arousal AND muscle contraction. I'm trying to consciously relax muscles.

            I have a long way to go.

            But on tuesday, I had sex - actual penetration - with my wife for 20+ minutes. The first 5 there was quite a bit of stop/start, I had to pull out once and give her oral for 20 seconds, and she actually asked for that again. But the last 15 or so was basically stead slow thrusting, at most pausing occasionally for a deep exhale and reverse kegel, finishing up with a minute or two of fast thrusting at the end. She came hard (she always does) scraping up my back when I couldn't keep her pinned, and moaned softly after that the entire time. To be honest, I think I wore her out, she was sore two days later - she's not used to this either!

            I still need to improve awareness, I want better handling of stim, I need to work on the mental side more and relax - partly confidence helps that though, as success breeds relaxation and more success. I want better muscle control .... but it all seems obtainable now.

            I was primarily worried about pleasing my wife (or future partners if things collapse, tbh). My eyes are now opened to the pleasure _I_ was missing out on.

            I just can't thank all the contributors to this forum enough.

                Well I can share my little success with you all. I have been trying to cure my PE problem for about 4 months now and first signs of success start to show. Week ago i had a very erotic dream and I thought I was cumming again but I was able to hold strong kegel consciously twice. Guess what pants ar almost dry. Only little cum dripped out. At the beginning of my journey to recovery my pc muscles were realy tense like holding a 80% kegel all the time. And I thought that was more or less relaxed. I deffinitely have more control over my pelvic floor muscles now. My ejaculation is better, can feel the muscles moving slower but stronger. I still have not cured unconscious kegels problem and it is hard for me to hold a strong kegel for longer than 5 seconds. Any advice on that?

                    You definitely need to start doing reverse kegels.

                    Now MAY 2012 BPEL 6 and a 1/2 inches. EG 5 and a 1/2 inches.

                      • Edging session today at one point i was sort of getting closer to PONR then i wanted and i tried putting some pressure on around my perineum - which sometimes helped.

                        And that's when I noticed the involuntary kegels. Little ones, not that strong. But man, could I notice them with a finger there. And started consciously trying to relax.

                        Big noticeable impact on the intensity level I could take without hitting PONR. Eventually I got close, and I could tell I was doing almost a constant slight kegel that was really hard to fight off.

                        need to improve my reverse kegels.

                        • Hi guys! Been lasting longer and longer everytime I have sex. I always eat blueberries, walnuts, almonds and half a pill of benadryl-type medicine, just incase(only 1/4 of the dose). Those things might be a bit helpful, but I think it's mostly mental, making me think they are working, so it makes me feel a bit confident. I'll try without those things soon and let you know. I just feel that having real sex is the key. My body is getting used to lasting longer and thrusting longer to the real thing. I dont even masturbate anymore. I feel like anything else is unnatural and will just confuse and affect my performance. Reverse kegels, edging and ballooning without porn is what helped me get rid of my Prem Ejac and I still try to hold a light reverse kegel during sex the whole time to stay relaxed and stronger reverse kegels to hold off when I feel I'm about to cum or I'm getting close. What I keep noticing is that I do finish quicker the first time. I feel sex should be done atleast 2 times maybe 3 cuz you last longer the second and third time. I try to go right away ASAP so that I start with a completely empty chamber. When I do that I get no PONRs or spasms till like 30 minutes later. THAT'S WHY I FEEL THAT PREM EJAC IS MORE PHYSICAL THAN MENTAL. I also notice that there is too much PRE-cum the first time. It gets all inside the condom and makes you too wet and sensitive and makes you cum too soon. I also stay away from blowjobs, quickies and masturbation for now. I feel masturbation will have negative effects for me now. Real sex is the key to train your mind and body to last longer each time.                             If that was true, every single friend I know would PE, yet no one has problems. I know that because we exchanged porn as kids in school, lol.

                            • I believe it is ONE of the causes but it just depends HOW you masturbate. I got prem ejac by masturbating for a whole year everyday without sex with a woman. I would regular kegel too much and especially during masturbation while watching really hot porn sitting on a hard chair. That put pressure on my prostate and massaged it to much. And I was also masturbating without lubricant. I started ejaculating in 1-2 minutes during masturbation and especially during sex. I now do the exact opposite of everything I mentioned above and can last 30-40 min. of fast/hard thrusting.
