  • Premature ejaculation questions

    I have had this problem ALWAYS(im 42).I have done all the kegal training,read all the books.PONR training MMO, taken supplements for serotonin, I understand the concept of the pelvic floor muscles and spasms but it still always happens to me no matter what. Its like keeping your hand under boiling water and thinking you can train yourself to not have it hurt...YOU CANT!!

    PE is an orgasm reflex that automatically happens due to many different causes in chemical balances, nervous system issues and muscle related issues and its not the same for every guy.

    I have found the only thing that has ever worked to have me gain control of orgasming is alcohol, or really the effects alcohol has on my nervous system and body cures my orgasm reflex from triggering right away. If they had a drug that could mimic that without having to drink alcohol my PE would be cured.

    The other puzzling thing is I do not have PE when receiving oral where as some guys have PE when receiving oral so why would that be? Doing the start /stop sucks for my girlfriend and for me but I can't get that "tickle" sensation of needing to ejaculate to stop happening so quickly after penetration, but don't get that feeling when receiving oral...why would that be?

    Any comments would be appreciated and welcomed but not the advice of do kegals, etc etc I have exercised my PC muscle for years and have read all the books etc etc. My problem is how do I stop the feeling of needing to ejaculate so quick after penetration. I can control ejaculating but have to stop thrusting or I will ejaculate and this feeling usually happens after about 4 or 5 thrusts or 20-30 seconds. Doing the start /stop sucks for my girlfriend and for me, but I can't get that "tickle" sensation of needing to ejaculate to stop happening so quickly after penetration...Anyone else have these same issues?

    Have you tried edging? Also, one thing I noticed recently is that I have a particular spot on my penis, right around the frenelum that causes me to feel an intense urge to ejaculate. If you can locate your most problematic spots and work on them with edging, you will notice improvements.

    Edging is essentially masturbating and delaying your ejaculation as long as you can. You should masturbate at a pace that feels good for you, but stop before you get to the PONR (point of no return). Keep repeating this for about 10 minutes the first few times then you can work your way up to more time later.

    Good luck man! I used to have severe premature ejaculation, but it's getting better bit by bit.

      I am in a very similar situation as you. I found that drinking alcohol is what makes me last long and i can have long pleasurable sessions with my girl. I had to stop that habit tho because i don't want it to become an addiction. I started meditating a few months back and i can honestly say that has helped me a lot. When you can control your mind , you can control you body. When im having sex i will concentrate in other things and know that i am pleasuring her. I concentrate in saying things in my mind like "I am not going to cum" and it works!! sounds pretty foolish, but it is working. I also do P.E. and to increase my size and pre-ejaculation. If you start having sex and have in your mind the problem of you finishing fast, most likely that is going to happen. Focus on different things.

        YES I have tried edging but doesn't work when practiced with real sex.Masturbating I don't have PE I can control like I can control urinating, its just when penetration happens my ejaculation reflex happens immediately. Masturbating I can control to the point of knowing the spot on my frenulum that if touched I will ejaculate. I have been thinking of trying Promescent to desensitize my frenulum as I think the frenulum being very sensitive during intercourse is a trigger to ejaculate. The question I have is why no PE during Oral???I also have no control issues when I have drank alcohol??
        any thoughts??

          That's like the old advice of just think of baseball scores or your grandma naked and you will last longer. If I pour boiling water on your arm and tell you to "think cold thoughts and you won't feel anything", you will probably think that's not going to work. My problem is the reflex to ejaculate happens too quick. My thoughts are not really going to matter for this issue. Thanks for the reply I understand what you mean though in regards to meditation.

            I have this problem as well. Not during oral, not masturbating, but penetration only. Alcohol helps, but I know of a better solution. Most won't like it, and this comment may even get deleted, but I'll give it a shot. Tramadol. It's a non-narcotic pain killer. Talk to your doctor, and he might prescribe it for you if you ask. It's considered a non-narcotic pain killer, but it is definitely addictive, so beware.

            I found out about it after having some dental work done, and taking it for pain. I didn't feel high or whatever you feel from stronger pain pills, but when my GF came over, we had sex for ~2 hours, and after a nice nap, again for ~3 hours. Google it, and you will see that it has widely been prescribed to treat PE. All you have to do is ask.

              The link in my signature has all causes on this forum for Pre E. I think you might benefit from the mental aspect- arosual control/ performance anxiety, though unfortunately there isn't a complete section for those yet.

              The reason I say this is if you have no spasms, there shouldn't be any physical reason for Pre E. Also, you say you can masturbate and recieve oral for as long as you want, which shows you CAN physically last, so there must be a mental aspect letting you down when it comes to sex. It seems you may also have got yourself into the mindset of "I have Pre E, I'm going to cum instantly". It may sound silly and perhaps even impossible, but you need to try and get into the mindset of "I'm in control, I don't need to cum". Positive mindset is everything when it comes to beating Pre E, no mater what the underlying cause.

              Also, I will say this; you may say you have no involuntary kegels but this might not be the case. You could just have a very weak muscle, so you don't feel the spasms. Try placing a finger in your ballsack, so you can feel the PC muscle. Then perform some slow masturbating movements, and look do any movement in the muscle. If you don't notice any, try picking up the pace. Just long shot, but this could be the case.

                yes peanutbutter I have heard of Tramadol for PE that's an option, better than an SSRI.

                  Don't go for Tramadol in my opinion, it only ends up making you feel depressed a few days later and you also lose you sex drive, it's also kinda difficult to maintain an erection. All whilst not actually 'curing' anything.

                  I've only (2 weeks ago) just found out the cause of my Pre-E, I've only ever seen a couple of threads on here about it - but I'm 99% sure the cause of my Pre-E is due to high histamine.

                  I was the same as you, it felt like I had tried everything and saw literally NO improvement to my lasting time during sex in over 6 months of fairly strict training (kegels, edging etc etc). As soon as I saw that high histamine could be a cause, I immediately went out and bought some anti-histamines (Zyrtec, they're easily available). I took two (10mg each) and waited about 3 hours, I then got out my Fleshlight Stamina Training Unit, normally I can only last less than 30 seconds with the Fleshlight so I always just used my hand instead. Well, to my surprise I was able to last over 10 minutes going at a steady pace!! There was no 'numb' feeling in my penis or anything, I could feel EVERY sensation, it's just that the PONR never felt like it was coming close!

                  I was very confident this would be the case with sex as well, so the next day before my girlfriend came over I took two again and was able to last for 15 minutes of continuous sex (no stop-starting) which seemed HUGE compared to my normal 30 seconds, and again I could feel every sensation and had a strong erection etc.

                  For the past week I have been taking supplements to lower my histamine permanently; magnesium, calcium and L-Methionine, which means I will no longer have to rely on the Zyrtec.

                  Edit: obviously incorporating things you've already learnt will add to your lasting time; ie holding a light reverse kegel during sex.

                    I'm going to post a detailed thread soon if anyone is intrested, but for now here are some more symptoms of high histamine, I have a few of these symptoms:


                    • Do you have long, slender, fingers and toes?
                    • Is the toe next to your big toe practically the same length or even longer?
                    • Do you sometimes hear your pulse / heartbeat in your head when you try to sleep at night?
                    • Do you ever suffer from insomnia (struggling to sleep)?
                    • Do you find that you can become obsessive or compulsive with things (like trying to 'cure' Pre-E)?
                    • For guys, do you find it hard to grow chest hair?
                    • Do you have a fairly good tolerance of cold but poor tolerance of heat (flushing, sweating etc)?
                    • Do you struggle to put on weight and have a slender frame?
                    • Do you sneeze when looking at bright lights?
                    • Do you sometimes blush excessively when talking to people?

                      I have done some research and compiled chemical aspect of premature ejaculation here ...
                      Chemical Aspects of Premature Ejaculation - Blogs - PEGym Forums

                      My experience is similar to Bigstar20 with antihistamine. I think if you have lifelong preE and ejaculate within seconds, then you must consider lowering your histamine levels with food supplements which Bigstar20 has suggested.

                      bendricks: Alcohol increases GABA levels in the brain temporarily. That is the reason it makes you last long. Epilepsy Prescription drugs increase GABA in a similar way in the brain. That is why these are often misused as sex drugs. But problem with these drugs is that your body gets used to these quickly and you will have to double the dose so frequently.

                      You can increase your GABA levels and reduce histamines levels with food supplements, and there is no need to use prescription drugs etc.

                        I can relate to some of these, for example the indication of your testosteron level due to your finger ( ringfinger longer than your indexfinger means high testosteron level right ? ) size. And the hearbeat in my head and light forms of insomnia now and then, but that is also possible due to sleeping rhytyms and going out and such. But can you explain some of your points and why it could be a reason for PE ? Sounds interesting..

                            I second this. I have the slender build, hard to put on weight, no chest hair etc. I'm going to start a course of anti histamines, but don't they take at least one week for there effects to kick in?

                              I've seen you a lot posting these vitamins/minerals to take, and I'm curious has it cured your Pre-e? Or do you still have pre-e?

                              I've been drinking green tea everyday, taking vitamin B, C and D (on my own) and it hasn't really seemed to help out whatsoever in my pre - e
