Title basically says it all. I vaguely know about exercising the PC muscle but I'm not sure whether to do kegels or RK's (I don't exercise it and have no idea which way men typically tend to unbalance the pelvic floor). As an alternative, or addition to doing kegel/rk's, does core strength help you last longer? Maybe helping to reduce your involuntary kegels during sex/masturbation?

Naah, no way. It might help you throw some groovy moves in the mix, but thats about it. The penis is the penis, in and of itself. Shit man, I wish working my abs would make me fuck longer, haha I been on a killer routine lately. Legitimately, cumming is mostly mental. I find the more confident I'm feeling, the longer I am, although i have gone in with a "Swelled head" (Hehe, pun) before, and came real quick to my dismay.I have no problem being with just one woman, but I can't not eat all the donuts.
Current: 7.2" x 5.25"

If you get involuntary kegals or you clench your anus most often while receiving stimulation, then you need to do more rk's than kegals. Something like 70:30 ratio.
There are 2 types of kegals. One is done by clenching the anus, it is called rook lock or back kegal and should be avoided because it reinforces the habit of clenching the anus again and again. Normally guys end up doing this version of kegal and then complain it accelerates the premature ejaculation.
The other type is regular kegal and it is done by NOT clenching the anus. I think it involves the IC muscle and seems very effective. To isolate this, just inhale and push the pelvic floor like a reverse kegal and then transition it to a kegal. You will see anus is not clenched in the case.

As a general rule, if you tense your stomach muscles this gives you more sensation in your penis. If they are relaxed, you get less sensation. Try it when edging, gently tighten your lower abs and the sensations in your penis will be stronger.
Incidentally your can increase sensations for a women by pushing gently on the area above her 'pubic mound' when going down on her.
During sex having a relaxed stomach area will help you to last longer.
By all means work out your abs, just be aware to release tension there as well. Having a relaxed body is very important for sex, and being aware of any tension.

Core strength (not core tension) improves posture and increases stability therefore it reduces the strain on the pelvic floor allowing it to be more flexible meaning you will need less kegels in order to attain a balanced pelvic floor. It is very important to mention that strong glutes also help increase stamina and that most of the time (if you are sitting allot) those muscles are not as strong as they should be. Also core is not just abs, it is the whole abdominal structure (internal and external) and exercises like crunches are just a part of it.
In conclusion, it will help you a good deal and allow you to reach your goal faster but it is just a part of the solution.
