        Hello again!
        So yesterday I had a great 20 mins edging session after a few days pause. I hadn't edged for 3-4 days before because I hadn't have the time and the libido, and yesterday I edged for 20 minutes and got almost no IK's and felt like I could go on forever! This was great!
        Do you think the good session has something to do with the pause, or is it just a coincidence?

        Also, I've been thinking about buying condoms with desensitizing cream. I want it just as a temporary aid, just so next time I get to have sex I will be able to actually enjoy it. It might even give me a little confidence boost and help reducing performance anxiety. I know it's not a real solution and I'm bound to keep my routine.
        The thing I'm afraid of though, is that my body will get used to the numb feeling and it will only make things worse when wearing a regular condom or no condom at all.
        Do you have any thoughts about this?

          I had good recent success by wearing a condom and applying lube to it. Make sure it's a water based lube that won't damage the condom. You're technically not desensitizing yourself but rather reducing the friction levels on your penis. I'd try that rather than the specialist condoms. You don't have to be discreet about it either - the girl will love the slip and slide of the lube!!

          I've used those special condoms in the past (not through choice, i grabbed a multi pack by mistake and it had different ones in it - some of which were the numbing ones). Didn't make any difference. In fact, i think it made things worse!!

            So, I have had great sessions the last four days. I'm still not sure whether the pause helped or not, but I surely will take a few days break every now and then to check if this reoccurs.

              Hello again guys!
              I keep going on my routine, and my sessions have really improved lately. This is awesome.
              One thing concerns me:
              when I have an erection and I lie faced down on bed, the pressure the bed puts on my penis gives me a very strong IK which is almost impossible to get control of. Most of my other IKs are now considerably under control.
              This concerns me because it is the exact same position as lying on top of a girl (without even having sex, just messing around), and it got me to a touch from PONR on past sexual encounters, so I fear it will get me there in the future too, even if all the other stuff are already fixed.

              How can I get rid of this stupid IK?

                Ok i just tried it, a few days ago i noticed that when i squeezed the head of my penis i was doing IK's (flaccid or erect), so to prevent this from happening i am training by squeezing my penis at the head and doing a reverse kegel to stop the IK from happening.

                This is my 4th day doing this and its working, right now i don't even have to do a RK to stop it. This might help you overcome this problem since i had the same sensation when i lied face down in bed.

                I was wondering, do you also do IK when you squeeze the head of your penis or does this happens to anyone else?

                  Yes, I also get an IK when I squeeze the glans. Mostly when I'm erect, when flaccid it doesn't have this effect.
                  I will try what you said and see if that helps.

                  Another thing is, as I said on one of the earlier posts, edging while facing down (simulating missionary position) is almost impossible for me. I can barely touch myself without having an IK or PONR, and nothing seems to help fix that yet.

                    These are the sort of IKs which still bother me some of the time. They also happen when an erection becomes caught on tight clothing etc.

                    I have had success with the technique described by draugr, I reccomend you also give it a try. I think it is similar to removing IK from edging, use an RK initially, but then the body learns not to IK and you no longer need the RK.

                      And what about the "missionary edging"? I mean, I don't know how to practice that because every gentle touch gets me very quickly to PONR. Does this happen to you also?

                      I think it is the different position of my testicles that make the "missionary edging" so intense. I used to think this was due to muscles being more tight, but I've noticed that my balls fall down and closed to my penis because of gravity and it feels almost like they push cum down the shaft. I tried to hold them back to their position while I'm lying on the back and it became easier.
                      So how do I overcome this? It feels impossible when my balls fall down..

                        I've been interested in trying a scrotal ring, in an attempt to keep the testicles pulled away from the body, I do notice that my testicles are generally pulled up tight, and often I may need to actually push one or the other back "out" of my body during edging. I am definitely wondering if, and how this may be affecting my PremE as we know that at the time of ejaculation, the testicles pull up tight. So this may be one of the reasons I reach PONR as quickly as I do.

                          I have also thought about that, and I also have my ball very tight usually, and during orgasm they often go up and inside my lower abdomen (sometimes it happens even before orgasm).
                          Going by this logic, I would have thought that while face down the gravity will be on my side - getting the balls down and away from my body, but weirdly enough, this position of my balls does the opposite and feels way more intense. Maybe that is because although they seem away from the body, they are higher inside the scrotum.. But this is just a guess.

                            Interestingly missionary is my best position in sex so I haven't tried edging. I will and get back to you. Best position meaning I have best control over premE.

                            I believe there is a strong mental issue in us guys with this problem, so I wonder if your mind is playing tricks on you here? The only idea I have so far to help your training is to begin edging standing up near the bed. After some time when you have good control or reach the 20min mark where you are de-sensitized begin leaning over onto the bed. After a few sessions you may be able to climb up in the normal missionary position.

                              I agree with you, i think everything is in our minds, the fact that missionary is my girlfriend favorite position make it one of the hardest positions to me. I like the concept that we need to "reprogram" ourselves with excercices and edging. Im aware that when i think about having sex with my girlfriend while edging makes me jump from phase 7 to 10 in one second.

                                good idea vulcan! I will try that.

                                Yesterday I had a good experience with the "missionary edging". I started edging in this position (usually I would start lying on my back and switched to "missionary" after a while) and I had better control than before. Then when it began to feel too intense I switched to lying on my back and could keep going.
                                I will do that more often and try to stay longer in that position.
