  • Is PE really the second leading sexual dysfunction to ED.

I'm starting to wonder how common is Premature Ejaculation?None of my friends have the problem.none of the males in my family have the problem and no woman I have been with in serious relationships including my present girlfriend has ever been with a guy who has had PE.Have you talked to family, friends and your present partner have they ever been with a guy who had PE?.Its not talked about a lot but I ask people because I'm curious to see how common this is, but in my circles its no even heard of really....which sucks for me.

Well it really depends on where you live but I'd guess about 20-30% of the population suffer from some kind of PE.

I don't think it's the kind of thing many people would openly admit to even if it was a problem.

Exactly^^^^^, which is why I think the occurrence rate of PremE is actually much higher than what you read on the internet, I think it is much higher than 20-30 percent, especially with todays usage of internet porn.

It depends on how you define Pre-E.

Lasting long enough until your partner reaches climax regardless of time (long or short) doesn't mean you have Pre-E, its known that many ladies take longer than males to climax from only penetrative intercourse, and that also varies from one lady to another and from one couple to another.

Also, its not uncommon for a male to ejaculate within a few strokes or minutes from the initial penetration, it only affects them mentally and leads to a complex if they take it as a shame or an inadequacy, rather than being over excited by a wonderful partner.

IMVHO, Its mostly in the mind, and the pelvic floor, and pre conditioning. The Premature Ejaculation Forum has invaluable information on the subject and how to deal with it.

A real man never hurts a woman. The woman came out of a man’s rib, not from his feet to be walked on, and not from his head to be superior, but from his side to be equal. Under the arm to be protected, and next to the heart to be loved. - Mrs. workin_4_it

I think in a lot of cases its chemical related in the body mainly the sympathetic nervous system, receptor issues and hormones like serotonin, gabba, dopamine, excess prostaglandin and other such chemical actions related to reflex and ejaculation.

I would tend to agree with Bendricks, I'd rather have yours than mine.

Don't get us wrong.... We know that DE is not a good thing to have either and its frustrating, but if we could choose between both of them since we are on the other edge where we can't satisfy our partner and personally it makes me feel worthless and i dont even get satisfied since i am thinking on how bad i performed and to sum it up my partner also gets frustrated and everything turns into a holocaust.... yeh... right now i would sacrifice my satisfaction to see my girlfriend happy and satisfied... but.. im not looking to last 1 hour at bed... at least enough time to make her feel what she deserves to feel...

And i apologize, i didn't ment to make it look like DE was better than PE... both of us just want to be a normal guy while having intercourse with the person you like and to be able to reach the orgasm at the same time as your partner...

Does it count as re/de (are they different terms for the same thing or slightly different?) if you can orgasm just fine through masturbation when alone but never through actual sex?
