  • Edging and the PC muscle

    Ok Ive read on here that u should relax everything as you edge/have sex. If Im edging and I dont flex my pc muscle (kegel) my erection subsides quickly. I dont know if that means I have an imbalance in the pelvic floor or where exactly. Just wondering what approach I should take. Thanks.

      wait, what?

      your erection should be relaxed?

      i always flex with my PC during an erection.

      i think just as long as the nitric oxide is getting in there the flexing is like whatever, i've had zero problems..

        Ive been trying the reverse kegel and i feel very little if anything. I feel like im more or less push like a reverse back kegel. Is it ok if there is no movement at all? I feel im extremely standard kegel dominant. I figure just continue the reverse kegel and eventually ill start feeling some movement?

            As someone else said before, i only feel back reverse kegel but not front..shud i just keep doing it?? Or shud i actaully be trying to isolate them??? please help..and how many times a week?? It seems like everyone does it differently ..and are u meant to do them weak??or strong??

                Many guys use rk to control pre e .
                Again many guys relax the pelvic floor to help control pre e .
                Normal unregulated sex will cause kegels , this may not be an issue.
                In guys with pre e they tend to happen at an increased speed due to excessive tension in the pelvic floor.

                Reverse kegels and other methods are used to reduce this tension , they can also be used within sex to control kegel spasms , also in ed treatment for dry orgasm and mmo training and other uses.
                There are a number of methods for each use and of course several methods can be used concurrently . So for instance a guy could be doing an out of sex k/rk training and using rk within sex.
                This means there is a wide range of method in use onsite .

                The first question to be asked is what is your purpose? Then you can devise training to suit .
                In the case of back reverse kegel being dominant, a combined reverse kegel should in time strengthen front reverse if you can not do it isolated . Another method used to strengthen and relax the pelvic floor is deep squat, the pelvic floor is activated to both strengthen and stretch in this exercise . It can also be usefull in some cases of underlying muscle imbalance being a causal fator ,eg weak glutes.

                  For those seeking dry orgasm and mmo, a high level of pf mastery and condition is needed.

                  The training progression k/rk wise for delayed ejaculation (DE) is probably the least clear . There is interference in normal kegel function in DE and anxiety is implicated . As far as exactly how to approach pf training in this case I invite comment.

                    I am front kegel dominant. Been working on reverse kegels. I do in fact have DE and would like to be able to have more control over my erection and erection hardness.

                      Pegasus what wud be a good guide for a rk routine?? Some people say do it every other day , or 3 times a week or everyday

                        As stated previously the routine you do will depend on goals also existing condition etc . But to give a guideline guys with pre e often do 50% or more rk within their k/rk routine . So for each kegel they would do a similar reverse kegel .
                        Guys seeking eq improvment would generally do less than 50% rk leaning more towards the kegel side.
                        Those seeking mmo could get into complex routines involving skill.

                          In my opinion Jelqing and edging should boost EQ, as well as kegeling, but I have over done kegels and it messed with EQ, now I try and limit it to my edging sessions. If you feel like you have overdone them it may be worth taking a few days off, before resuming.

                          What I'm doing for Delayed Ejaculation is mostly edging:-

                          When practising Edging, it's not something that I have been consciously aware of until now, but I believe I'm holding a light kegel and focusing on stimulation to the entire penis with slight glans/frenulum bias. Using lube, lighter grip and quicker strokes when edging, as well as quicker breathing. Tensing the legs and glutes may help too.

                          *When I feel like I'm getting close to PONR I use deep slow breathing and try to focus my deep breaths at the perineum area, you might say I'm holding an easy relaxed reverse kegel with my breath (breath remains continuous, but slowed right down and deep) until the feeling of wanting to ejaculate subsides.

                          I basically do the same thing as I did when training to last longer in bed, only with more emphasis on arousal level via breathing, sensation awareness, and faster rhythm (jerking quicker).

                          *Whether this part is needed remains to be seen, as this wouldn't be technically edging without it(getting to PONR multiple times), but I do this also to complement any size training as well as EQ.
