  • My progress / routine log

Hello, figured I'd start one of these too to track my progress.

I've been going at it for around 3 weeks now. Mainly peaked my interest due to EQ and I've been happy with the results until now. Still didn't see any gains besides flaccid (which were almost instant), but I'm not too concerned.

I started (and am still) around 6.5" BPEL and 4.9" girth. Besides hopefully continuing to gain EQ, I'd mainly like to gain girth. I'm not as concerned about length, in general I'm not really unhappy with my size now, but I figure something like an inch in length and half an inch in girth would be ideal? Honestly don't have a clue, but I'm definitely not as ambitious with my goals as some of you on here!

I started with JP90, but found the routine way too harsh, so I kept cutting away at it and ended up basically following something more like PESG's approach at this point. Here's my routine now.

    Warm-up:
10 minutes with hot washing cloth

Stretching (left, right, forward and up-forward):
    Helicopters (count to 10)
Stretching in directions (20 quick kegels)
    Helicopters (count to 10)
Big circles (5 reps left and right)

Then I finish off with helicopters again. Takes me 6-8 minutes to finish stretching, took me a bit longer at first since I had to wait to get flaccid all the time.

    Jelqing:
25 reps normal jelq (counting one rep as once for each hand)
    25 reps normal jelq

Normally takes me 10-12 minutes, I try to do each rep as slow as possible and hold the grib for around a second right under the glans. I'm still unsure about erection level, I don't know if 70% means I should be hard or not. Either way, I often get pretty flaccid after a few reps and have to stop. In the beginning I just kept going.

Fireman rolls (count to 10 and do this 3-5 times)

Doing these preemptively since I'm worried about discoloration in the future.

    Warm-down:
8 minutes with hot washing cloth

I've kept reducing the base routine, as I found myself feeling sore and sometimes a slight pinch in the top of the shaft after I'd finish (kept reducing reps and pressure each time until now). I'm feeling more comfortable with this and I honestly prioritize safety far above gaining quickly, so I think I'm good with this for now. As for v-jelqs, I simply couldn't find a way to do them that made any sense, it felt really awkward and like I wasn't benefitting much from it.

I'm getting circumsized in a couple months, so I'll probably have to lay off PE for a while after that, but I'm enjoying it now anyways and I figure it'll still make it easier to get started again after. I probably won't update daily, but I'll try to update every once in a while when I change things around or notice any gains. Input and tips is of course much appreciated!

I tried speeding up my jelqs by a fair bit today, since I've been having difficulties maintaining erection level during jelqs. It felt much easier doing them a bit faster (around 3 seconds), though I still had to take breaks during sets. I could keep going for maybe 20 reps though, instead of having to stop after only 6 as before. I ended up doing 3 sets of 25 reps instead of 2 and it came out to exactly 10 minutes. I'll try to go with the faster jelqs for a while and probably up the reps to 30, and do 3 sets instead.

I also upped the helicopters to a count of 15 and tried to take a bit more time in between each exercise, so stretching comes out to 10 minutes as well, which I think is appropriate. I'm not sure if I should expect any gains before my operation. If I don't see anything before then, perhaps I should try a different approach? Not sure what though.

I don't get how, but somehow after my last session (trying lighter grips and faster jelqs), I've developed what appears to be an actual injury. I feel I've been pretty careful throughout and had the impression that you'd have to be basically doing insane things to end up with something like this, but it seems to have happened in spite of generally positive PI's (with some soreness and slight discomfort after sessions, honestly did not feel particularly bad).

I think I have "hard flaccid", basically I feel a lump of what I guess is scar tissue in the middle of the shaft, stings of pain concentrated around the head and top of the shaft (much worse than any of the discomfort after sessions) throughout the day and obviously, hard flaccid. I've tried reading about others having the same problem and I'm trying to do the pelvic routines (never felt I had or have a problem with tension though) and just relaxing, but this still sucks. All the benefits I had from PE are down the drain right now and worse, it's even harder for me to get erect / aroused now than before I started.

It's making me reevaluate the potential risks versus the benefits of PE, because I don't think I was being as reckless and irresponsible as I got the impression you'd have to be to get an injury like this. I really hope I didn't do long-term damage, but it looks like some people have this problem for years. Granted it's only been since Monday, but in that time it hasn't gotten much better, and an actual hardened / lumpy feeling is making me think it's not something that'll pass out of nowhere.

I'm trying to stay positive, I don't feel like jumping out of a window or anything, and even if the problem persists, it's something I can learn to live with. Still, I'm shocked that it happened just like that. PE, as it turns out, is definitely not comparable to working out your muscles. I expected that something this drastic would not happen without much clearer warning signs, and I still have no clue what could've caused it, making me feel even more that the benefits of PE don't outweigh the risks for me.

Well, recovering has been a bit back and forth. It got a lot better within the first week, then it suddenly got worse again and I started being more proactive with doing reverse kegels all the time etc., without seeing a lot of improvement. The strange pretty dramatic lump was gone within the first week though and never returned, although I still have weird erections. I'm convinced it's mainly a pelvic floor issue (still not sure if the glans pain is too, didn't see if others had that symptom) and I've realized I had the bad habits long before PE that would make me prone to get this problem eventually.

Finally just tried doing nothing at all and just let everything rest, and over the last few days it seems like hard flaccid is practically gone (more often than not, it's just normal), but I still have weird erections. The few times I do have hard flaccid now, I can make it disappear instantly with doing some helicopter shakes. The glans pain has been getting less frequent too, so I figure I'm on the right track. Tried masturbating a couple times since the problem began, once it felt fine and the other not-so-fine, so I'm just gonna hold off entirely for a while.

Still didn't decide if I'll see a pelvic floor specialist about it, since I've really felt like the tension is getting less intense over the last days especially, I'll wait and see. If it goes back to being bad again or I keep having erections that feel uncomfortable (pain around glans and not getting normal ejaculations) I'll definitely see one.

        Guess that's all for now!

Still getting better step by step. HF comes and goes, but doesn't feel uncomfortable the way it did at first, erections can still be strange at times, but not painful like before, and at the same time they're stronger than ever, almost looks me in the eyes now! Glans pain completely gone (felt maybe a slight tingle once in the last two weeks), and just feeling less and less tightness.

Involuntary kegels are almost gone entirely too, but I still have to stay aware of it a bit. Tried masturbating and while I've lost some control (obviously, used to doing a thousand kegels a minute and now I can barely do them at all, and I actively try not to), it was SUCH a huge relief that I was able to do it without having a huge relapse from it like happened last time. So basically, the pain is gone, the discomfort is gone and it seems like I can masturbate without having to start all over with recovering, so I'm pretty much happy with where I'm at now! HF is really a minor symptom compared to the other ones I've had from this pelvic thing that are mostly gone now, so in my book, I'm recovered.

Getting circumsized just over a week, so there'll be no masturbating for a while regardless. I'll try to get in touch with a pelvic floor physical therapist next week, hopefully that can help me with getting rid of the last bit of tension while I'm recovering from the operation. After that, I'm hoping to get back to PE, but I'll still hold off until I don't have to worry about triggering another pelvic muscle spasm or whatever this thing was.

Recovery from circumcision has been incredibly tough. Had it done two weeks ago and couldn't sleep at all until last weekend, I was literally blacking out throughout the day. Fortunately I had it done during my vacation. I was apparently bleeding more than usual in the first day and needed help to get the bandage off, which caused even more pain and bleeding, so I needed another one.

Having the last one taken off was probably the worst pain I've felt in my life, and the skin had stuck to the head entirely after that, which caused so much pain when trying to sleep due to erections that it simply became impossible. When I went to the surgeon, he said everything was perfect and just told me to take more painkillers.

I've also developed a small hard lump on the shaft. They told me it was scar tissue and that it'll break down and go away over a couple months. It freaked me out at first and I was scared of it being early signs of Peyronies, but hopefully those fears will be gone completely as it goes away (and it better!).

This obviously took away my focus from HF entirely, which was seemingly recovering on it's own anyways. It was impossible to tell while I was still swollen from the operation, but I could still feel it sometimes. It seems minimal now, and if it's not gone entirely once I'm fully recovered I'll get a hold of the physical therapist. Probably won't try to get back into PE for another 1-2 months at least.

I'm mostly recovered from the procedure now. The scar tissue is completely gone already, the stitch marks are mostly gone too and while there's still some discomfort here and there it's mild and not that frequent, and should continue to improve. I'm really happy I had it done now, even though those first couple weeks were so awful.

Seeing a physical therapist specialized in the pelvic floor in 3 weeks, HF is gone completely, but some symptoms remain. I'm expecting to start PE again shortly after that once I'm certain my pelvic floor is completely normal again. Strange how little I've actually been PE'ing, a lot of bad stuff to go through before I could get into it, but I'm still interested in giving it an honest shot, and I don't think I'm likely to have pelvic floor issues again now that I'm more aware of it.
